Hi I’m John 👋🏻, I create cool stuff and teach people how to as well....
I started dabbling in VFX around 11 and fell in love with creating. It’s crazy, my dad provided everything I needed to create, from a laptop to a soldering iron.
In 2023, my dad passed 💔 while I was still in uni. Creating had to go from something I loved to something I had to do to support family. I grinded hard, paid my school fees, and supported my siblings. I kept growing through it all until it all started to make sense.
I’m writing this to formally introduce myself. I just started being public on X this month and I’ve got A LOTTT of value to share. I remember having no means to pay fees and having to figure things out fast. I don’t wish that on anyone, so I’m committed to helping people grow, learn, and earn from their skills 💸
The creative space is facing a renaissance because of AI. Roles are looking unstable. But just like crypto, the dot-com era, and social media, the winners of every renaissance are the ones who spot levers early, act first, and act fast. I’m committed to taking as many people as possible through these times with me. We will be building in public, We will act first, we will act fast, and we will be among the winners🔥🔥🔥.
Follow me if you want to be a part of this!
(or not, I don’t care. whatever. Purr 💅🏻)
(I will answer everyone that asks me any question. Follow and Send a dm)
Brands, 🟢🟢I AM OPEN TO WORK🟢🟢
I WON THE $10,000? 😭😭😭😭
Let me start by acknowledging my fellow winners @JeremiahDfirst, @theProcessXCII, @tanyfx, @framesbynh, @nelsonnn000 and every single person that participated. The submissions were GOATED. Check out their profiles for their submissions.
To everyone that participated, congratulations! You beat 90% of people. Tens of thousands of people saw the competition, resolved to participate but didn't. You did! You're a champ for that!
When it was looking like I wasn't going to get any of the winning spots, it was a bit discouraging, but you know what I did? I kept going... Went on to another challenge 😂 (cos I love creating!!!). So don't stop! On to the next! Keep on creating! And as you congratulate me today, I'll be the one congratulating you tomorrow.
By the way, I'm prepping the guide for how I made this. Also working on a roadmap for anyone that wants to make it in the creative field
I'll share here soon. Watch @theProcessXCII's guide too. Solid value there.
Then to the @GoDark team... I may not get the tags right, so forgive me if I'm missing someone instrumental as well, but @GoAnthony
@GoDenis @GoQuant @GoDavidWaugh Thank you! Going through all those submissions couldn’t have been easy. Respect for doing it properly. 🥂
I couldn't even complain. Every single winner chosen was the right choice.
GOD DIDDDD!!!! THANK YOU JESUS 📌
(I still feel like I'm going to wake up and realize this was all a dream 😂)

Opus 5.5 is f*cking cracked at motion design
I'm dropping all prompts used in the comments
This is INSANE 🫣

As a motion designer, Opus 5.5 genuinely surprised me with this.
This looks NOTHING like all the "one-prompt motion graphics" you see on X...
Because it isn't... [Cont'd in comments]

At untitled designers conference. Come say hi.
@untitledsgnrs @UDLagos
Ok they're moving fast
Yesterday it was color grading, now @trymirage has your agent building full HDR comps. footage, animated type, glow, effects. all editable
Opus 5.5 just got a full HDR motion design stack with Tesseract.
🤝 Paid partnership
Claude and ChatGPT can now create HDR videos and motion graphics with Tesseract.
The latest video models can generate HDR footage, but that quality often gets lost in the editing process.
Tesseract changes that.
Combine HDR footage with animated typography, luminous graphics, and effects, without sacrificing brightness, contrast, or color.
From editing and motion graphics to color grading and final export, your agent can work in HDR throughout the entire process.
And every layer stays editable.

Client Acquisition 101: Systemize, automate, and be religious.
We use Claude + ChatGPT + Michael (local model running on Ollama) to automate populating database.
We use Notion for the database.
We have Roster, YTJobs, Contra Jobs, Behance Jobs, X search, among others, on the lead-sourcing side.
The part that makes any system work? RELIGION. (Not the one you’re thinking of.)
Treat the system like drinking water. Show up daily. Make it non-negotiable.
stay tuned for Client Acq. 102.
Claude has replaced all motion designers & video editors”
But there’s a reason Coca-Cola spent $1M+ to create AI commercials but they still have a production team they pay an estimated $400M+ a year
There’s a reason OpenAI posted a Motion Designer role paying $240K a year
There’s a reason Higgsfield pays a Chief Motion Designer to create their marketing videos
There’s a reason MrBeast is still looking for editors and willing to pay $80K-$90K a year
Are you still waiting for me to say the reason?
Hot take: Lots of pro designers will be replaced by AI... cos a beginner decided to use it better.
For God's sake, A 19yr old Vadim Strizheus made $11,000 with AI.
What happens is this, pros are too fixated on the fact that they are pros, they wouldn't dare use AI slop tools.
So beginners pick them up instead. They couldn't learn the pro software, so they skipped it. And they're getting paid.
If it stays like this, the people who know less will replace the people who refused to adapt.
Don’t be BlackBerry watching the iPhone take over. Let's grow together people.
I didn’t expect “describe the look you want” to become a real color-grading workflow this year, but here we are.
@trymirage’s Tesseract can now grade straight from log footage. your agent builds the first pass, then you can apply custom LUTs, tweak exposure, curves, and do shot matching yourself
what a time to be alive

Opus 5.5 and GPT-6 Astra can now color grade your videos at the level of a professional.
Introducing color grading with Tesseract.
Shift individual colors, enhance your camera log footage, and dial in the look shot by shot with support for ACES and LUTs.
Every layer stays editable, whether you work in your agent or take your project into Premiere or After Effects.

RIP adobe? 💀
So apparently you can hand your old Premiere and AE projects to an AI agent now and it just keeps editing. didn't have that on my 2026 bingo card
🤝 Paid partnership
You don't need an Adobe subscription anymore.
ChatGPT & Claude can now edit and render Premiere and After Effects projects using the Tesseract plug-in.
Bring your existing Adobe projects into your agent, then use Tesseract to keep editing.
If you've been on the fence about using AI to edit your videos, consider this your sign.
AI in outreach 🤔
Someone, test this out. Let me know how it goes.

Exactly. A lot of these platforms claim to replace designers.
But think about it, AI still hallucinates so much when creating text, images, videos. So why do we imagine it would then be perfect at the one thing that needs soul the most? Get yourself a GOAT to use the tool.
Claude did not make the bird.
I got the bird and gave it a prompt to use a stop motion mixed media style to make it flap.
I will NEVER diminish the value of my work by giving AI credit for what was ultimately my Idea / direction / animation.
I knew exactly what i was looking for and i either directed Opus 5.5 / made tweaks myself till it became just that. This is Motion Design.
Replying to @johncodunayo
Opus 5.5 can not draw real looking bird motion, dont tell lie, say if you used supporting video and opus 5.5 utilised that

Ok this one actually got my attention
Mirage open-sourced Tesseract's converters, which means Claude and ChatGPT can now work on real Premiere and After Effects projects. like the actual .prproj and .aep file.
The agent does its part, then you open it in Adobe and fix the bits you're picky about. it's a project you can edit, not a flat mp4.
If you edit for a living, go look at this
Now Claude and ChatGPT can natively create Premiere (.PRPROJ) and After Effects (.AEP) files.
We've added open-source converters to Tesseract, our creative suite for agents, to make it possible.
It works both ways. Bring your existing Adobe projects into Tesseract and let your agent pick up where you left off, or vice versa.
This is our first open-source release, and compatibility isn’t perfect yet. Create projects, tell us what breaks, or contribute a fix. Help us make Tesseract better for everyone.
