Also MANY thanks to all the #lawtwitter folks On Here. Many of you took time to reach out to me personally when things were really bad. You encouraged me, inspired me, taught me, and ultimately welcomed me to your ranks. I promise I’ll pass on the favor.

Hey #lawtwitter
I need a recommendation. A friend needs an estate lawyer licensed in DC. The attorney should have some experience dealing with international matters. The decedent is a dual citizen with assets here and in China and the main beneficiary is a DC resident. Thanks!

Do we think @FlavorFlav + friends would want to collab with us in clearing more lists?? #LawTwitter + friends cleared almost 150K. Over 300 classrooms organized on noreensnook.com that could use some magic!! Have your people contact my people Mr. Dayton!!
Thank you @FlavorFlav for the puzzles and crafts scissors. Both will be put to a ton of use. I appreciate it 🙂

If you want honest advice on your outfit, ask the gays. If you want honest advice on your ex, ask the girls. If you want unsolicited advice on something you literally specialize in, tell a man that you’re busy working on something

I did none of it. No law review. No moot court. No clinics. No student organizations. Nothing.
Why? Because I was working full-time during law school (at the law firm I now own!) while also paying my way through law school.
Was it the traditional law school experience? Nope. Would I do it differently? Not for a second. Zero regrets.
I’m at the derm for the eczema on my thumb that’s driving me nuts and the med tech said “well your skin looks great! That’s the first thing I noticed from the waiting room.”
If you need me, I’ll l be riding that high. I’m 45 and it’s becoming a battle.
What happened to this guy was wrong of course, but the OFF DUTY cop needs to chill. Bro, just be off work if nobody or their property is getting hurt. See what it cost you? Going viral for all the wrong reasons and looking like an absolute jackass.
Off-Duty Cop Mistakes Cigarette For Drugs…
In Marysville, Michigan, Jake Kidder was washing his truck at a self serve car wash. An off duty police officer claims to have seen a black man in a Cadillac hand a suspicious bag to Mr. Kidder.
Assuming he handed him drugs, he called his on-duty buddies, who responded within minutes. They confronted Mr. Kidder, who responded that the black man was his coworker, who handed him a cigarette.
This occurred in St. Clair County, Michigan.

Take a break and gaze upon the cuteness. This is Sunny and she’s very tired because she has to grow so much.

I can’t describe what it’s like to go through 3 years of law school, bar registration and character and fitness, $3000 bar prep course, $750 registration fee, $150 tech fee, 6-8 hour days of studying, drive 2 hours just for them to play in your face and cancel the exam. UNREAL.
Diploma privilege. Period.
Note to bar examiners: You can't just fix these kind of problems by telling people "you'll just take the test tomorrow and Thursday." There are travel plans, hotel plans, etc.
If you're going to give a test only 2x per year, you actually have to get the administration of the test correct, because "there's always February" doesn't cut it!
The more I read about what went down today, the worse it gets.

To everyone taking the #barexam tomorrow: there is nothing on this exam you don’t already know. You know how to fly this plane through the dogfight. Don’t freeze and abandon your confidence. Most importantly, come home whole—the next 2 days do not take away from what you’ve already earned
Look man. To each his own, but I would have done whatever I needed to spare getting yelled at for an hour or having to clean bathrooms on Sunday morning. Basic/OCS sucks.
Despite being a licensed attorney, I could not have answered this quickly. But at least I would have LOOKED IT UP. Remember that if you’re feeling like an imposter in your Big Kid Job, at least you do more than this fancy trial attorney who did not do even a simple Google.
Here is the Appellee's response to our brief:
It argues that an affidavit is not hearsay because it is sworn.

If you are studying for the bar, feel free to DM me. I have a TON of resources that I have collected. I failed Feb 24 and passed July 25 in a UBE jx with >266. People have shared with me and I just want to pass it back.
I literally kicked JW in the face because he snuck under my desk and had a seat on my footrest. It didn’t reset his crossed eyeballs though.
