Steve Scott Inspires a Fan! Fans appreciates Jeff Benjamin's writing, all in one note! "A note for you😊 Steve Scott inspired me, an ex-smoker and overweight guy who could barely finish a 5K walk without puking. Seeing him excel and meeting him once at the Ontario (California) airport motivated me more than he might imagine. I was never a competitive runner, but grew to appreciate the beauty of running and had the good fortune to attend the Mt. San Antonio Relays in Southern California several times. I carry with me Steve’s American record time, even though Alan Web set a new one many years later. Thank you Jeff for your journalistic talent and coverage of many of the people, including Steve, who were my inspiration to keep putting one foot in front of the other for many years." #stevescott, #jeffbenjamin, #sub4trackclub, #Helsinki1983, #LA1984, #ASICSAmerica, #runblogrun, #bringbackthemile, #runningnetwork,
