@thocpodcast random question but thought you might have some insight. I was chatting with someone here (tier 3 china) who said at the school where they work (a pub-private type high school's international wing) the history teacher (a foreigner) cannot talk about the cold war+
@thocpodcast he said the cold war is very sensitive and totally off limits. I found this surprising! I know about lots of sensitive topics but didn't know that was one of them. Am curious if you might know if it's true more generally across china, and if so, why
