Have you ever heard a "journalist" ask Starmer why Jews in the Labour Party are disproportionately suspended, investigated or expelled for "antisemitism" under his watch?
You'd think that was worth mentioning, given Starmer claims he's made Labour a welcoming place for Jews.
Replying to @Peston
Orwellian nonsense. Robert!
In the last 24 months at least 56 Jewish Labour members have been investigated expelled or suspended from Keir Starmer’s Labour Party
Their “heinous” crime was to support Palestinians.
Kuluna Ghaza/We are all Gaza, setting of words spoken by @DrMadsGilbert, with deepest respect and solidarity.
Written in response to learning that @ElbitSystemsLtd, Israeli arms manufacturer, regularly wins awards for being an “ethical” employer.
Replying to @ElbitSystemsLtd
@ElbitSystemsLtd you are not worthy of an ethical award, you supply drones for the Israeli death machine, you profit from blood.

I’ve watched this video over and over and over. They way it affects me is indescribable. From the way she looks at him and rests her head on his shoulder to the way her little hand clutches his vest 🥹
These are the little angels that we’re seeing in video after video being pulled from underneath the rubble as dusty corpses 💔
How could you? HOW COULD YOU!? 💔

BREAKING:
🇮🇱The Israelis have surrounded Netanyahu's residence in Jerusalem and are demanding his resignation.
Earlier, it became known that #Hamas is delaying the release of the second group of #Israeli hostages until Tel Aviv begins to adhere to agreed standards for the release of prisoners.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
It is an anti-Hamas protest to demand the release of the Israeli hostages.
At the beginning of the video, in the upper left corner, it says that the protest is taking place in “Tel Aviv, Israel”, not Jerusalem.

BREAKING: STATEMENT FROM DIRECTOR GENEAL OF HOSPITALS ON GAZA STRIP
Muhammad Zaqout:
“The Israeli occupation army stormed Al-Shifa Hospital and entered the “basement” of the hospital and did not find anything.
He is now going up to all the floors, confirming that the hospital is civilian, and he will not be surprised if the Israeli occupation makes a new false film, as it did in Al-Rantisi and Hamad, and brings up “baby feeding” and says that the hospital is being used for military matters.
Pointing out that the occupation fired heavy bullets inside the hospital without any clashes, which caused a state of panic and fear among the patients, he pointed out that the doctors are steadfast and fulfilling their humanitarian duty.”

I'm an 84 year old ex army veteran, and I deplore the way armistice day is being used by jumped up right wing politicians, as a reason to curb the Gaza protests! Those we honour on Sunday fought for freedom, and that freedom applies to Gaza too!

"I’m personally a Holocaust survivor as an infant, I barely survived. My grandparents were killed in Aushwitz and most of my extended family were killed. I became a Zionist; this dream of the Jewish people resurrected in their historical homeland and the barbed wire of Aushwitz being replaced by the boundaries of a Jewish state with a powerful army…and then I found out that it wasn’t exactly like that, that in order to make this Jewish dream a reality we had to visit a nightmare on the local population.
There’s no way you could have ever created a Jewish state without oppressing and expelling the local population. Jewish Israeli historians have shown without a doubt that the expulsion of Palestinians was persistent, pervasive, cruel, murderous and with deliberate intent - that’s what’s called the 'Nakba' in Arabic; the 'disaster' or the 'catastrophe'. There’s a law that you cannot deny the Holocaust, but in Israel you’re not allowed to mention the Nakba, even though it’s at the very basis of the foundation of Israel.
I visited the Occupied Territories (West Bank) during the first intifada. I cried every day for two weeks at what I saw; the brutality of the occupation, the petty harassment, the murderousness of it, the cutting down of Palestinian olive groves, the denial of water rights, the humiliations...and this went on, and now it’s much worse than it was then.
It’s the longest ethnic cleansing operation in the 20th and 21st century. I could land in Tel Aviv tomorrow and demand citizenship but my Palestinian friend in Vancouver, who was born in Jerusalem, can’t even visit!
So then you have these miserable people packed into this, horrible…people call it an 'outdoor prison', which is what it is. You don’t have to support Hamas policies to stand up for Palestinian rights, that’s a complete falsity. You think the worse thing you can say about Hamas, multiply it by a thousand times, and it still will not meet the Israeli repression and killing and dispossession of Palestinians.
And 'anybody who criticises Israel is an anti-Semite' is simply an egregious attempt to intimidate good non-Jews who are willing to stand up for what is true."

For decades, Palestinians demanded that the world acknowledge the Nakba – the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians from their homeland in 1948 to create a European Jewish ethno-supremacist state in their place.
They were ignored, ridiculed or accused of hating Jews. Now we see the result.
Unless we learn from history we are condemned to endlessly repeat it.
Which is why most Westerners will keep quiet as Palestinians are murdered and driven from their homes once again – because we have been trained by our leaders and media to assume that speaking up in support of freedom and dignity for all equates to antisemitism.

The enormity of children lost to Israel’s genocide is staggering. While sharing pictures of all is impossible, this a list of all the names of these innocent victims, a list that would take a day to read. Each name stands as a somber reminder of the unfolding slaughtering of children by Israel.
Tears fall as familiar names appear, and the sorrow deepens when entire families are left with no children. #Gaza @EuroMedHR

BBC news at 10 tonight - what a disgrace.
They are not a Public Service Broadcaster any more. This is State controlled TV. This is China. This is Russia. Over 500,000 protesters came to central London to plead for peace and the end of bombing in Gaza. BBC say ‘up to 100,000’ protesters came and focused on the 10 arrests.
The Director General should hang his head in shame. He has utterly failed in his responsibility to report news fairly and truthfully. How many far right wing Conservative stooges is he subordinating himself to? He is an embarrassment.
People want peace. Huge numbers of people from every walk of life want peace. People resist ongoing Israeli bombing and the inevitable ground invasion and slaughter. This must be reported, and fairly. #wedeservebetter. #peace #stopbombinginnocentpeople
