Covering the Arctic isn't just a matter of distance. It's a matter of persistence.
That's what makes the Canadian Coast Guard's evaluation of the Hermes 900 StarLiner in Iqaluit so interesting. In a region where weather, infrastructure and sheer geography create constant challenges, long-endurance UAS can help extend surveillance and monitoring capabilities far beyond what is practical with traditional assets alone.

European nations continue to invest in long-range precision fires and operational flexibility.
Elbit Systems announced a contract valued at approximately $235M to supply EXTRA-MR precision-guided rockets and PULS rocket artillery systems to a European customer. The program also includes additional rocket artillery platforms and integrated logistics support.
Designed to engage high-value targets at ranges of up to 80 km, EXTRA-MR combines precision, flexibility and compatibility with existing command-and-control architectures, while PULS provides a versatile launch solution already selected by a growing number of customers worldwide.

Commanders get two orders that pull in opposite directions: hit the target precisely, and keep the aircraft and crew out of reach of enemy air defenses.
A longer launch distance usually makes precision harder. On top of that, enemy forces jam GPS and move mobile targets before a slow weapon can reach them.
One way to satisfy both orders is to have the weapon carry more of the risk.
That is the thinking behind Rampage.
The aircraft releases it from outside the enemy’s defensive envelope. It flies supersonic and keeps its navigation under jamming. Once launched it needs no further guidance, so the aircraft can leave the area right away.
Rampage didn’t start out as an air weapon. Its technology came from ground-launched rockets. Moving it under a fighter’s wing gave it altitude, speed and a launch point the pilot can choose. Together, those changed how far it can reach.

Modern missions generate more data than any operator can process alone:
Elbit Systems combines AI, advanced sensors and connected systems to transform fragmented information into a clear operational picture.
By identifying what matters most, these technologies help teams make faster, better-informed decisions in complex environments.
Less noise, More insight.
A decisive technological advantage.
Today’s dismounted soldiers rely on much more than voice communications. They need to exchange data, receive live video and maintain situational awareness while staying connected to the wider tactical network.
Designed specifically for dismounted forces, the E-LynX™ SR is a compact, multi-channel and multi-band software-defined radio operating across U, L and S frequency bands.
Its dual-channel architecture supports simultaneous voice, IP data, Blue Force Tracking and video over a single network. MANET capabilities and advanced waveform technologies help maintain reliable connectivity in dynamic and contested environments.
E-LynX™ SR can also connect soldiers with UAVs and autonomous platforms, supporting Manned-Unmanned Teaming and access to mission-relevant information from across the network.
With its wearable design and intuitive multilingual interface, the radio is designed to meet the operational needs of soldiers at the tactical edge.

Every few years, a new technology is predicted to change warfare forever. Yet one capability continues to prove its value on the battlefield: artillery.
From supporting troops across multiple sectors to delivering long-range precision effects, artillery has evolved far beyond the traditional image of guns and shells. Today's systems combine mobility, automation, connectivity and precision to deliver firepower where it is needed most.
As militaries reassess lessons from current conflicts, artillery is once again demonstrating why it has earned the title "King of Battle."
Our latest article explores how artillery evolved, where it is heading next, and why its importance continues to grow.

October 7 served as a powerful reminder that security and preparedness can never be taken for granted.
For us, it reinforced the purpose behind everything we do:
enabling those responsible for protecting nations, communities, and critical infrastructure to meet evolving challenges with confidence.
Driven by innovation and guided by mission, we remain committed to advancing technologies that strengthen readiness, resilience, and protection.
How do modern armed forces connect intelligence, autonomy, precision effects and mission readiness into a single operational framework?
At Marrakech Air Show 2026, Elbit Systems will present a range of advanced capabilities spanning autonomous systems, precision fires, airborne self-protection, ISR, communications, digitalization, and training solutions. From the Hermes™ 900 UAS and SkyStriker™ to advanced airborne protection and next-generation electro-optical payloads, the showcase highlights technologies designed to meet evolving operational requirements.
We look forward to engaging with customers and partners in Morocco.

Modernization is not about preserving the past. It's about unlocking what a proven platform can do next.
By integrating advanced avionics, digital mission systems, connectivity, and modular capabilities into existing fleets, Elbit Systems helps customers enhance operational performance without starting again from zero.
The result is a path to extended service life, greater interoperability and advanced capability that is cost-effective and aligned with real-world budget constraints.
For decades, an adversary could count your tanks, ships and aircraft, then decide whether the risk was worth taking.
Today, the first question on their mind is different:
Will we be seen before we even start?
Persistent ISR that never leaves the theater. Real-time intelligence in the hands of small units. Armored crews who see through their own hull. Precision fires whose accuracy sends a message without a round being fired.
Each of these changes how the other side calculates risk. Together, they move deterrence into the space between what a force knows and what it chooses to reveal.

The most interesting part of the recent SkyStriker demonstration may not have been the strike itself.
It was the cooperation between SkyStriker and the SkyLark™ 1 UAS.
The ability to combine real-time reconnaissance with a precision strike capability gives operators a broader operational picture and greater flexibility throughout the mission.
The demonstration with Diehl Defence highlighted how these capabilities can work together in a single operational framework.

A missile that never leaves the depot is not a deterrent.
The gap between what a defense system can do and what it actually does under pressure comes down to one thing: whether the parts, crews, and infrastructure behind it hold up when conditions get hard.
That's the calculation every procurement decision quietly makes. Not "what's the spec sheet," but "what happens on day 40 of a shortage."
The forces that plan for that gap don't just recover faster. They keep their options open when everyone else runs out of moves.

A ship at sea has one question to answer before anything else: what was detected, and how long until it becomes a threat?
A radar return. A blip on a screen. A missile in the air. Each one starts a clock.
Patrol aircraft and unmanned surface vessels expand the picture. Electronic warfare systems detect threats before they close in. Off-board decoys draw missiles away. Loitering munitions launched from the sea extend the reach of the force.
No single system carries this mission alone. The layers work because they're designed to work together.
On World Maritime Day, we're highlighting the systems that help naval forces see first, decide faster, and respond when seconds matter.
Protect. Disrupt. Collect.
Built on the combat-proven SPEAR™ family, Elbit Systems' AECM Pod delivers self-protection, electronic attack, and reconnaissance capabilities in a single airborne solution.
With advanced jamming techniques and the ability to address multiple threats simultaneously, it helps aircraft operate in areas protected by sophisticated air defense systems.
Beyond electronic attack, SPEAR™ AECM Pod also provides valuable situational intelligence, supporting informed decision-making throughout the mission.
