When the rechargeable battery dies out of warranty, so does your $1,200 CleanSpace powered respirator.
CleanSpace does not offer battery replacement service for the internal batteries nor will they sell you replacements for a 3d party to install.
Redditor u/Intelligent-Cause751 has done what CleanSpace refuses to do, and has replaced the non-user replaceable batteries in multiple CleanSpace Halo PAPRs.
Unfortunately, replacing the internal batteries is not something the average electronics technician can do because u/Intelligent-Cause751 had to disassemble the old battery packs to salvage the battery protection circuits, then have a company make custom replacement batteries of the exact shape and specifications needed. And then they had to reseal the PAPR housing with an appropriate glue to get a hermetic seal, followed by PortaCount testing to validate the seal.
I hope CleanSpace will change their engineering to use user replaceable batteries in future PAPRs. Most people who have a dead or dying CleanSpace PAPR, including myself, don't have a way to replace the batteries, making the CleanSpace respirators short-lived and much less cost effective than they should be.

We conducted tensile strength tests today on the Ziga mask, focusing on one of its key upgrades: the elastic strap attachment mechanism.
1. Users can choose from and install various types of Ziga elastic straps;
2. Initial options include elastic straps in lengths of 30cm or 50cm;
3. The new attachment design allows for seamless switching between ear-loop and head-strap configurations;
4. The new design resolves the issue found with ZIMI straps, where reverse tension exceeding 10N would cause the strap to snap and the mask to break; with the Ziga design, the strap simply detaches, allowing the mask to be reassembled and reused;
5. The forward tensile strength of the new attachment exceeds 70N (well above the 10N requirement set by Chinese standards).
