My postdoc work is now published in #Science! In this work we found that the non-coding genome can harbor mechanically-sensitive genomic enhancers (“mechanoenhancers”) that governing the transcriptional and functional responses to ECM stiffness. science.org/doi/10.1126/scie…

But given all we know about the vaccine's ability to protect, no reports of safety concerns in kids who got 2 doses, & huge anxiety among parents of toddlers, wouldn't it be logical to consider allowing 2 doses NOW while awaiting data on efficacy of shot 3 in a few months? (2/4)

CDC’s new guidance to drop isolation of positives to 5 days without a negative test is reckless
Some ppl stay infectious 3 days,Some 12
I absolutely don’t want to sit next to someone who turned Pos 5 days ago and hasnt tested Neg
Test Neg to leave isolation early is just smart
Excited to be able to share more about what I've been up to these past few months! It's been an absolute joy to work together with such supportive & amazing people at TuneTX. Looking forward to using these epigenetic editing tools to tackle some complex therapeutic challenges.
We’re excited to announce the official launch of Tune Therapeutics and introduce our unique TEMPO platform. Our novel genetic tuning approach dials gene expression to healthy, functional levels – without breaking or rewriting DNA. Check us out here: bit.ly/tunelaunch
What an amazing way to highlight an important "negative result" -- kudos!

Excited to share that the last piece of my PhD work in the @MauckLab is out now in @Biomaterials_ , where we further explore the role of nuclear envelope wrinkling in mechanotransduction! A few of our main findings from the paper below (1/n): sciencedirect.com/science/ar…
(7/n): A quick summary image. Our observations support other cool work out recently on the wrinkled nuclear morphology in different contexts from (Michele Nava/@KateMiro1 /@WickstromLab), (@valeria_ventur /@Ruprecht_Lab /Weiser Lab), (@Alexis_Lomakin/@PielMatthieu) and others!
(8/8): Thank you so so much to all of our collaborators @BurdickLab @DymentLabPenn @TrisDris @TTsinman @EricDai_BioE @HeoLab, & esp @ClaudiaLoebel who was instrumental in finishing this work! I couldn't have worked on this with a more fun and supportive group of people :).
