102 yrs ago today, @SavetheChildren was founded by #EglantyneJebb, subject of my bk #TheWomanWhoSavedTheChildren. In 1919 Erich Karl was one of the German children whose life was saved by Eglantyne’s aid for the starving children of Britain’s former enemies. He's now 108.
