Le CERN va migrer environ 2 200 ordinateurs de contrôle de ses accélérateurs vers Debian 13. Pas parce que le matériel est obsolète. Mais parce que les nouvelles exigences de RHEL auraient rendu une grande partie de ce matériel incompatible, avec un renouvellement estimé à 5,4 millions de CHF. Plutôt que de remplacer du matériel parfaitement fonctionnel, le CERN change d’OS. C’est aussi ça, la souveraineté numérique : garder le contrôle et faire durer son matériel. Worked @1C_SO50 SO-50 with TH-D72 and Elk again from the camping ground. 3/4 of the pass where lost to a whistling and lengthy CQ calling station from 🇳🇱🤷🏼‍♂️. Worked G6YTZ, PE1NIL, G0GTV and UA1WAN. Didn’t hear @M5Jfs though… Next (and absolutely last) pass at 0748z? #amsat
