A mom from a mountain with a wild idea.
And a supplier that truly cares about people, community and the heartbeat of small business in America.
B Stock covered the expense of these pallets in full to support the devastating circumstances so many families are facing after a historical wildfire season in my small town.
This will be a story I tell over and over.
Because it is the most beautiful example of service, integrity, humility and empathy.
It is what lives in the hearts of all of us.
We are so powerful.
With profound gratitude, from this Reseller and the communities of Okanogan and Chelan counties, thank you @bstocksol family.
A volunteer that showed up yesterday to help unload pallets took 41 photos.
And I look like this in the background of every single one.
A baby on my hip.
A huge smile on my face.
There’s a lot of noise this week on the internet.
We get to choose what we consume. And we get to choose how we show up.
If you look for the good, you’ll find it.
I cried a lot of happy tears of gratitude today.
I left the non-profit this afternoon, opened x to see this post by Jorge…
I’ve had a really heart breaking, difficult 6 months.
I decided to get through grief I would become relentless in my pursuit to simply do good things for others.
Big. Small. With zero expectations.
And it’s been the most surprising and grounding experience.
Here I am again. Just so grateful to have been a small part of someone else’s big beautiful story.

They always say, “Don’t meet your heroes, because they’ll disappoint you.”
Well, yesterday proved that to be false.
When I first started my reselling journey, one of the first goals I set for myself was to one day be a guest on Chris Koerner’s podcast.
And there’s a pretty special reason why.
@mhp_guy content was a huge reason why I started my entrepreneurial journey in the first place. His videos made a future I had always envisioned seem feasible. And his video with @hey_mindi about how she flipped a $1 pallet of books into thousands of dollars flipped a switch for me.
Not long after watching that episode , I accidentally ended up buying 7 pallets of books… 🤣
Now a few months later, here we are.

Yesterday, I got to not only meet Chris in person, but also be a guest on his podcast.
Still feels surreal even typing that.
I can’t thank him enough for having me on. He’s just as awesome as he seems on camera, and even more so.
Also, side note, Chris is WAY taller and more jacked than I expected 😂💪

This year I became more focused ever on giving back.
Reselling made this possible.
I donated nearly 10,000 books to fulfill a volunteer run reading program for 1,100 local kids.
I sent surprise packages to people.
I donated igloo coolers to a church supplying perishable food for fire evacuees.
Took tons of free coaching calls to help new resellers.
And today, in partnership with @bstocksol, we are blessing my local community in the most incredibly beautiful way.
This was a passion project that became a reality through the generosity of some really amazing people at B Stock that said YES.

Did you know last fall people searched “women’s puffer JACKET” 11x more than “women’s puffer COAT”?
I didn’t.
There has been a learning curve for me selling fashion.
I’ve had this puffer listed for 8 months.
Delisted. Relisted. A bunch of price changes. Nothing.
The last couple weeks I’ve been revamping ALL my listings in a new way.
A few days ago I RAISED my price on this jacket, changed the title & added the keywords:
Après-ski
alpine chic
sporty chic
winter streetwear
elevated casual
Sold it today.
Learning the listing nuances of HOW to sell is (maybe even more) important than what you’re selling.

Oh and we got a puppy this week. Because I didn’t have enough going on, you know?
About as real as it gets.
I’ve received some hateful comments on some of my posts.
“She’s selling a course. She’s a grifter.”
I didn’t really get why people would spew that toward me… but this week I sat in on someone else’s “reseller workshop” and I completely understand now.
It was essentially an AI slop 90 min sales pitch. No value. A ton of gatekeeping.
It deserves to be said:
If you are a new reseller and someone more experienced is promising you their way is THE way, they make big financial promises but you will only get access to their information and suppliers if you pay them for coaching…
RUN.
This is not a coach. This is a salesman.
You can learn SO much by starting where I did. It’s a $5/mo group that will deliver value so far beyond what you expect.
Oh and BTW. It isn’t my group. I’m not paid to tell you that.
I teach workshops. I take one on one calls. I charge for my time for those.
The community calls and access to TONS of resources, suppliers and auction resources is there for anyone to utilize.
Helping you in a community is how we all win.
A rising tide lifts all ships.
I truly never imagined I would inspire other people to start their own business.
I have immense gratitude reading posts like this.
It motivates me to continue to build, grow and share.
Because I never know who’s watching.
And being the tipping point for someone to take action on their idea is a dopamine hit bigger than that eBay “cha-ching” notification (resellers - you know this feeling!)
Build in public.

Fast forward a few months, and I’ve turned that into a business on TikTok. Just this past week, we went live 6 times and did $7K in sales. Crazy what one podcast can spark!
The best part about the reselling business is the community.
I “met” Larry here. He is one of my favorite accounts, because like me, he sees the world so colorfully.
He has an incredible growth mindset. Treats people with genuine kindness and interest.
And I’m so excited to see he launched a newsletter because it is sure to be completely packed with wisdom and value.

I have spent the last 18 months building a trustworthy reselling business.
I have perfect ratings on all platforms because I answer messages (very) quickly, I ship fast, I’m kind and I treat inventory with care.
Building this foundation is critical to being a successful reseller.
If someone is on the fence about a large purchase, your reviews are what can either tip the scale in your favor or against you.
Give people a reason to trust you in a crowded marketplace.
