I thought NHLers were supposed to influence kids, not the other way around.

If the price of your meatless burger is nearly twice the price of your hamburger, I’m torn whether to question the gouging of plant based diet customers or the quality of your beef

So Kevin Westgarth is essentially my family’s connection to Canes hockey. My youngest claimed him as his favorite player the first game we went to and has worn it playing hockey ever since*. If not for that & his kindness meeting my kids I don’t know if we’re fans today.

Never played another game after this picture. Was he overwhelmed at Axl’s pure talent knowing he could never return to that level of play? Who can say. – at Durham, NC

If I’ve learned anything from video games, that final boss is just Dark Trump that has the powers of the other five conspirators

Hey so I wanted to write a thing about the inevitable DeAngelo acquisition coming for the Canes in the next few days. I try to touch on looking at it both statistically & emotionally and trying to jeep things as neutral as possible. Enjoy? mrworkrate.medium.com/deange… – at Nashville, TN

So my yearly post. The Canes First Goal program is still one of the best deals you’ll find. The first year of the program we signed up a kid who skated twice in his life to “give it a try.” 7 years later & three Junior Canes seasons under his belt, I’d say he’s a success story. – at Wake Forest, NC

My day started at 6:30am getting ready to bring Axl to the rink, again, for the unteenth week in a row, but this time to officiate two games, including an 8U game. When Axl was 8, he was just joining Canes First Goal after only skating a handful of times. Hell of a ride.

Holy shit that kid is good – at Durham, NC

Also shoutout to @Enterprise in Wake Forest for this @Chrysler Pacifica we used this weekend for our mega roadtrip to Massachusetts. Room for the 3 giant teens to breathe, a smooth drive, safety features like LaneSense, and wireless CarPlay made 11+ hours each way much easier!

Spent this weekend in hotels with family and heard “oh, the coffee here is good! It’s Colombian!” No it wasn’t. @bottomless has spoiled me. The scale sent me this Colombian coffee from @HighwireCoffee that put hotel coffee to shame. This morning was a much better coffee morning. – at Durham, NC
