So Kevin Westgarth is essentially my family’s connection to Canes hockey. My youngest claimed him as his favorite player the first game we went to and has worn it playing hockey ever since*. If not for that & his kindness meeting my kids I don’t know if we’re fans today.

Being the parent of a kid who plays hockey vs a “hockey parent™” means getting an opportunity for your kid to potentially play at a higher level in a more competitive area and not being able to do it because you can’t afford the bigger travel and billeting fees.

In short: - hire Tulsky as GM - find some way to promote Yorke again (associate GM? 🤷‍♂️) - hire a smart hockey man for team president (Chuck Fletcher sounds fine) - promote Williams to AGM - hire me to be on Tulsky’s payroll as some special assistant to the assistant or something
