My next tour of the City of London is Sunday April 21st. Meet me on the steps of St Paul’s Cathedral at 2pm. We will walk eastward together through the Square Mile to explore the wonders and the wickedness of the City. thegentleauthorstours.com

Libby Hall acquired a 2nd painting @TownhouseWindow in 2016, ‘Rene’s Cafe’. A reminder of worker’s cafes in London’s east end, once flourishing on many corners; most now evaporated. @thegentleauthor⁩ ⁦@GrimArtGroup⁩ ⁦@PaintingsLondon⁩

My great rule in life, to go along with people who have a sense of humour rather than those who burn books, confirmed.
I love that you added “all rights reserved”, just in case people try and submit to the Academy Awards without your approval.

Excellent conversation between Ad Verbrugge of @De_NieuweWereld and Maurice Glasman about the political economy of Blue Labour, its foundations in Aristotle, Catholic social teaching and Polyani, and its vision of human flourishing youtu.be/jo_hVr8pdRI

This year’s #InterfaithWeek has given us an opportunity to reflect on the excellent partnerships the #Charedi community has made with people from other communities and backgrounds. There is so much we can share and learn from one another. (Photo credit Max Colson.)

As Jesus remarks in the New Testament, workers are worthy of their wages. Now more than ever, employers must step up and do the right thing by paying a real Living Wage. People deserve to live – not just survive. standard.co.uk/comment/bisho…

WELL let’s see. A few weeks ago I bought a copy of your paper by accident. It cost three quid. It was rubbish. The funeral of the darling old Baked Bean is going to cost me personally a third of that. I might remember it longer, too.
Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral, which will involve elaborate processions, vigils and rituals, will be paid for by British taxpayers as they deal with soaring energy prices and high inflation. The British government has not yet said how much it will cost. nyti.ms/3QO4gjn
