No, @granick! Any library worthy of the name does collection development and weeding of the collection from time to time, but it doesn’t throw out hundreds of valuable books to censor specific viewpoints or areas of inquiry. This is fascism led by Governor Ron DeSantis!

"Libraries throw a books away all the time". Yes. But they don't choose them to suppress viewpoints. I've never seen a library get rid of books w/o offering to sell them. Secretly trashing disfavored books so no one can read them is the goal. Free speech.
