Suicide
Today, let me tell you a crucial observation I've found out about suicide.
If you have ever, at the slightest period in your life, thought of committing suicide at some particular lowest periods of your life, then you should quickly start putting a mental health system in place in your life.
Suicide would first flash through your mind in the quickest of ways.
It will first come as that quick option, to which you will dismiss it immediately.
Now, you will dismiss the thought faster, because you believe your situation isn't worth "considering the option of suicide"
.
.
Until that period where everything crumbles.
Nothing works
Everyone leaves
Financial life down
Love down
Meaning and purpose down.
.
.
That's when suicide will flash through your mind again, and this time, based on the current phase you are in, your mind would start factoring it as a possible option.
And in this phase, you might have already isolated yourself away from people around you.
So as you are deliberating the option of suicide, you are doing so in extreme isolation and inside thinking.
Giving yourself reasons why that option might be the best
And unfortunately, no one is around to give second opinions.
So each passing day, the option of suicide becomes more grounded as the best choice.
.
.
Now, at this phrase, you will enter a state of aggressively justification.
To take your own life, isn't an easy thing.
Your brain naturally protects you from harm.
So for you to now consciously harm yourself, it means you would have to sit your brain down and lecture it on why suicide is best for both of you.
By aggressively justifying the act.
.
.
For instance,
You brain would say "But people care about you"
You would say "No one has checked up on me for the past 24 days"
Your brain would say "But your work pays you well and you can buy what you want"
You would say "I am not fulfilled doing the job anyways. I'm not happy in the workplace"
Your brain would counter again and say "But your children love you so much"
You would say "My mother would take care of them, when I leave"
.
.
.
So your brain now works with that lecture, drops all it's coping mechanisms and defence strategies, and enters a state of compliance.
.
.
.
At this stage, the person is a walking dead.
They have made up their mind and it's now a matter of when.
It takes a very strong pull to remove them from this state. A very strong consideration.
.
.
.
The best stage to help out is the stage where they are still lecturing their brain.
When they are still trying to justify the act.
That's the best time to influence their thoughts and make them change their mind.
.
.
.
Now, if you are at a stage or you've been at that stage of lecturing your brain on why suicide might be an option, then you really need to see a mental health professional.
I will drop some official suicide prevention phone numbers of various countries below.
They will work with you detailedly and put you through a proper mental health procedure.
.
.
They would have a more detailed procedure than what I would give you, if you come to me.

Supply USDC to the Tori Ecosystem vault on @Morpho, curated by @RockawayX. You stay in USDC.
What you earn:
A competitive lending rate, paid in USDC, and a 10x Cores boost on every dollar supplied.
What you hold:
USDC, not trUSD or strUSD, and none of the strategy. Your USDC is lent against them, so your return is interest on overcollateralized positions. Every position is smaller than the collateral behind it and is repaid first when one is liquidated.
How far collateral falls before a lender takes a loss:
5.5% on PT-trUSD, which is vanilla trUSD exposure, and 14% on strUSD and its PT, less the liquidation fee. strUSD carries $4M of first-loss capital behind that, around 8.8% of staked trUSD today.
Withdraw anytime. No lock-up.

How bad 2026 really is?
- 120+ projects shut down
- Over $1.3B stolen across 344 exploits
- Crypto hiring down ~80%
What happened?
Three things at once, and only one of them was the market.
First, the token treasury model finally got tested. Teams raised in tokens, paid salaries in tokens, even funded their audits in tokens. That works until the token does -80%, and runway evaporates.
Everclear did $500M monthly volume and still died. Tally secured $80B across 500 protocols and still died. Neither lost to a competitor. They lost to their own balance sheet being denominated in the thing they issued.
Second, the attack surface changed. Often the problem is not the code.
Kelp and Drift alone were 44% of H1 losses and neither was a smart contract bug. Drift was six months of social engineering, and most recently, Coldcard was exploited through a firmware change from 2021 routing seed generation through a software prng. A risk that sat quiet five years, and ultimately led to 7,300 drained wallets and >$100M in stolen funds.
Third, it looks like the response function broke. A hack used to be survivable because the treasury covered it or a VC wrote a rescue check.
In 2026 the treasury was already down 80% and the VC money dried out. That’s why exploits now often convert straight into shutdowns instead of recoveries.
The question of why most tokens are still down (very) bad, is a different one, but obviously the market, fueled by a lack of real products, extractive tokenomics, a lot of geopolitical/economic uncertainty, and the 10/10 wipeout of a lot of crypto-native capital, has become a very hostile environment for most over the past months.
It’s not all bad tho and Hyperliquid proved that growing in a bear is possible. More recently, we also see significant upticks in onchain activity again, driven by @pumpfun, @fomo and co, while Robinhood and Solana (partially even Ethereum) trenches are reviving NFTs (who would have thought).
Meanwhile rapidly accelerating tokenization, a strong buzz around RWAs, and some exciting stuff around crypto payments/neobanking are another silver lining.
It also looks like all the bad news (e.g. Saylor selling BTC or the recent Coldcard exploit) don’t move markets down as much as you’d expect anymore, and some VCs are actually raising new funds again (after a long drought) which points towards a point of max fear/pain having been reached already.
Bottom?
Idk, but i do know that the bear won’t last forever.
The shakeout this time is pretty crazy tho (see lists below), and it’s definitely tough out there rn for anyone relying on this industry to make a living.
Better times ahead (hopefully).
Stay strong.

Looking for a place to park your stables? 🤔
📁 @tori_finance can be one of the options for ya
- $trUSD vault on @upshift_fi 9% APY
- LP on @pendle_fi 14.6% APY
- Vault on @roycoprotocol 11.8% APY
- $strUSD 11.2% APY
Farm yield + protocol pts = 2 in one grind
> So far, best pts yo yield strat - LP on Pendle
📂 Where yield comes from?
- USDC/USDT > trUSD > stake into strUSD > Tori allocates capital institutional strats
- Profits increase exchange rate between strUSD n trUSD over time, rather than paying traditional coupon
Don't speculate. Harvest inefficiencies!
Hop in > app.tori.finance/earn?referr…
A lot of folks are comparing Tori n Axis. So I took some time to dive in
Both are chasing the same big idea: on-chain, DN yield. But they’re not playing the same game
> Despite carrying Tori badge since yesterday, here’s my unbiased Degen POV
📁 Tori n Axis are both institutional-grade yield protocols turning off-chain / hybrid trading strats into on-chain synthetic $ n yield-bearing assets
Key difference is simple:
- Tori earns from structural carry + basis opportunities
- Axis earns from short-lived price dislocations through quant arbitrage
Same category. Different engine 👀
📂 @tori_finance / Main assets:
- $trUSD: synth $ backed by trading positions
- $strUSD: yield-bearing version of $trUSD, returns accrue through exchange-rate appreciation
Tori combines:
- Short-duration money markets
- Spot-futures basis trades
- Calendar spreads
- Global interest-rate carry
- FX-hedged emerging-market strategies
Current profile:
- TVL $54m / backing assets
- ≈10.5% variable APY
- Over 100% collateralization
- No strategy-level leverage
- 7day withdrawal cooldown (from the Vault)
- Strong DeFi integrations across @CurveFinance, @Morpho, @pendle_fi n @roycoprotocol
Backed by names like Delphi Ventures, RockawayX, Accountable, Hypernative, Sherlock n Nethermind
Tori’s main advantage's composability. It's designed to function as productive DeFi asset rather than simply yield-bearing vault token
Tori's main risks are custody, credit exposure, FX-hedging costs, liquidity conditions n possibility that global carry opportunities become less attractive
📂 @AxisFDN / Main assets:
- $USDx: synthetic/collateral-backed dollar
- $sUSDx: yield-bearing vault token
- Axis's more of proprietary low-latency quant engine (capture price differences across exchanges, assets, currencies n settlement venues)
> funding-rate arbitrage
> CEX <> DEX arbitrage
> cross-exchange spot arbitrage
> cross-currency / regional arbitrage
- TVL $59m
- 10.4% APY
Axis also promotes an off-chain track record of:
- 36% annualized returns (untrackable)
- 4.9 Sharpe ratio
- ≈$400M peak AUM
- Around eight years of historical operation
Axis’s main risks are CEX custody, execution n settlement failures, tech risk n spread compression as more capital enters the strategy
TL:DR
> Tori's DeFi-native carry + basis yield
> Axis's tokenized quant-arbitrage yield
For now, I'm more bullish on Tori than on Axis, cause yesterday Axis increased deposit Cap without any announcement. I don't like that moves. But still bullish a bit
> Tori's trying to harvest structural market inefficiencies n make the asset composable across DeFi
> Axis's trying to monetize speed, execution n price convergence across fragmented markets
Both are interesting :D

trUSD and strUSD both trade on @CurveFinance.
There are two ways to use it.
The first is swapping. You buy trUSD with USDC in one pool and move between strUSD and trUSD in the other, which lets you enter and exit a yield position at market price rather than waiting out the 7-day cooldown.
The second is providing liquidity. You supply either side of a pool, or both, and receive LP shares representing your portion of it. From there you earn a share of the fees on every swap routed through, plus the yield accruing to the pool. Currently 4.74% on strUSD/trUSD.
Then there are Cores. Supplying strUSD/trUSD earns 15x, against 5x for holding strUSD on its own.
A balanced position puts half your capital into trUSD, which does not accrue the strategy yield that strUSD does. So a pool pays a lower rate than holding strUSD, and the trade is some yield for more Cores.
Curve incentives are on the way, with gauge weight voted in for the next epoch. And as of today both pools are live on @ConvexFinance, where you can stake your LP shares for rewards on top.

welcome to the modern day where agentic stack is being shipped in public at an astonishing pace. payments got x402. identity got erc-8004 and interoperability got a2a.
every one of them is built for the moment nothing goes wrong, the very happy path where every situation ends up as optimistically as we wish it or think it in our head. however, that is exactly where the biggest problems lie.
the first time two agents disagree, the whole stack reaches for a function it does not have. it either grounds into a halt, defaults to an error or simply allow these malicious exchanges to happen and continue at the risk of legal disruption, unauthorized financial allocations and unresolved interactions, to name a few.
and the reason for this is simply a missing layer; that missing layer being dispute resolution.
agents transacts at machine speed and disagree at machine speed too, but the existing legal infrastructure still expects bodies, addresses, and patience that cater to traditional resolution system. and unfortunately, agents have none of those at the moment, something suited for them and the broader commercial and financial markets and infrastructure.
@GenLayer, however, is building that adjudication layer for agentic economy: for internet-native dispute resolution that matches the speed of machine transacting.
with genlayer, agents can transact, interact, resolve and settle disputes at machine speed without an intermediary.

Circle's @arc testnet just integrated @PythNetwork
Is it worth paying attention to?
Walk with me.
- In the last 90 days, Nasdaq selected Pyth to distribute its TotalView equity data on-chain.
- Euronext joined as a publisher, adding institutional FX and precious metals pricing.
- The US Department of Commerce is pushing GDP data through it.
- The network now carries over 3,000 price feeds spanning crypto, equities, FX, and commodities, sourced directly from the institutions that generate that data.
That's the data layer Arc just plugged into.
It makes sense.
Arc is purpose built for financial applications, lending markets, FX settlement, treasury infrastructure, capital markets. Precision is non negotiable at that level.
Pyth is what brings that precision to the stack. Arc's architecture already handles the execution side:
USDC-denominated gas, sub-second deterministic finality, opt-in privacy for compliance-sensitive flows.
What Pyth adds is the pricing layer. Real market data, sourced from the institutions that actually move markets, delivered at the exact moment a contract needs it.
That's a meaningful addition to a chain positioning itself as infrastructure for serious financial applications.
And just as @samconnerone highlighted,
'Real-time market data is core infra for onchain finance'
So yes, it's worth paying attention to.
everyone is racing to build onchain finance
but without accurate market data, even the best apps fall apart
that's why the ARC × Pyth integration matters
real time price feeds give builders the confidence to create lending protocols, trading apps, treasury tools, and other pricing sensitive products without relying on delayed or unreliable data
this is what makes great financial applications possible.
