Steve Jobs founded Apple. And then named his daughter, Eve. Many think it's to illustrate the Garden of Eden story. And how Eve ate the Apple in the garden, hence the bite on the Apple Logo  . . Eve is 28 years old 🇺🇸 Youngest daughter of Steve and Laurene Jobs Steve Jobs called her "a pistol" with the strongest will of any kid he'd met She once called her dad's assistant to get herself put on his work calendar Was raised vegan for her first ten years, then rebelled hard. She collects vintage Apple T-shirts, including a rare one that says "Eve had the right idea / She picked an Apple" In 2022 she reportedly posted (then deleted) a meme mocking the iPhone 14 as basically the same as the 13 Describes herself as "a little weird" and says people often don't know where to place her. She lives in a very basketball-heavy household Eve was ranked the world's fifth-best show jumper under 25 in 2019. Then won team bronze at the 2019 Pan American Games in Lima She was in contention for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics but stepped away after the COVID postponement Her mom bought a $15 million Wellington, Florida ranch with a 20-horse barn for her training. Once said modeling is like show jumping because you only get two minutes to prove yourself She studied Science, Technology, and Society (with a politics/policy focus) at Stanford Eve has a lucky necklace she wears for competitions Her mother, Laurene Powell Jobs has said she doesn't intend to leave a multigenerational fortune (though trusts exist) Eve returned to top-level show jumping in 2024 after nearly three years focused on modeling . . . . I actually do appreciate that Eve is building her own life, in her own way. Yes there's the subtle expectation that comes with being Steve Job's child, but she's expressing herself through sports and fashion. . . I know your reality might not be the same as Eve's. Her mom literally got a $15m ranch for Eve's training. I know you might not have $15m support. But what you do have, is yourself and a daily choice, to be better at what you do, in the most inexpensive way ever. Practicing in your single room. Watching YouTube videos tutorials. Saving up and registering for inexpensive tutorials. Etc . . Your parents don't necessarily have to be Steve Job or Laurene Job. Heck, you don't necessarily need a $15m support, to get better each day, at what you are gifted at. . . So today, whether you need to crawl, then crawl. If you can walk, then walk. If you can run, then run. Just understand that, if someone uses a bicycle to get faster to a destination, you can still get there by walking. But you will never get there by not having any sort of motion. . . Who knows... As you are walking, someone might give you a lift by the road, and you'd even overtake the person that used bicycle. But if you aren't by the road, already on motion... How will they see you to give you the lift/opportunity? . . Keep going today. Don't look at the speed. Just have motion of any sort ❤️🫂 . . . Thank you very much for reading Have a wonderful day ahead 💯 . . ✍️ Vincent the Therapist

He was 53 years old 🇪🇨 🕊️ A day before his death, he marked the 15th anniversary of his priestly ordination In his final homily, minutes before the crucifix fell, he reflected on the brevity of life, saying: "One day, all of us who are here are also going to die… sometimes the time we have spent on other things does not have as much meaning as the time we spend with God" and urged people to prioritize God and loved ones over phones, work, and material worries. He closed with "Render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and unto God the things that are God's" Also regularly livestreamed Masses from his own Facebook profile so people who could not attend in person could still participate He was remembered as especially attentive to the sick, humble, close to ordinary people, and active in works of charity, catechesis, and neighborhood community life. In Manta he celebrated sacraments such as baptisms. Local residents later described him as cheerful, approachable, and committed to humanitarian work in the community. He had dedicated more than two decades to religious life. In his final homily he specifically asked the congregation, "¿Cuánto tiempo estamos dando a Dios?" while contrasting time spent on phones and entertainment with time given to God and family. After his death, his body was laid in state in the same Guayaquil church where the accident happened. Priests from both Vinces and Manta traveled to attend the memorial services. As a Redemptorist priest (CSsR), he lived under vows of celibacy (no spouse or children) . . . The name of this devoted religious man is Father Patricio Alfredo Sánchez Molinari 🤍🕊️ . . . . Sometimes, when we look at the odds of something happening, we cannot but marvel at how mysterious it happened at that exact time. But now that Father Patricio is gone, I want us to dwell less on the circumstances surrounding his death, and more on the life of impact, meaning and devotion that he has led. The greatest gift you can ever give someone, is the gift to Hope. And from the life of Father Patricio, he has certainly given this gift to many 🤍🕊️ . . For you reading this, I plead that today, you give someone hope. It can be by your words, your actions, your knowledge, etc. The hope you give, can be the tiniest light in someone's thick darkness. And that might just keep them going for a little longer 🫂 May the soul of Father Patricio, rest in perfect peace. Amen . . Thank you very much for reading . . ✍️ Vincent the Therapist

This is not a show-off. It is a reminder that we can make a difference, no matter how little we have. ❤️🥹 In rural schools, there are children who leave home every morning without food. Some with N200 to buy puff-puff to keep them going until closing time. They sit in class, trying to learn while their little stomachs cry for food. And every time I think about them, my heart breaks because I remember what it feels like to grow up with hunger as your companion. I know what it means to be hungry and still have to keep going. I know what it means to have needs you cannot explain because there is simply no money. That is why I don't take this responsibility lightly. If I can feed a child today, I will. If I can make school a little easier for a child who is going through what I once experienced, I will do my best. This morning, we prepared yam and egg sauce for some pupils. I have emptied my entire crate of eggs, but honestly, if that is what it takes to put smiles on their faces and food in their stomachs, it is worth it. 🥹❤️ I am not showing off. I am sharing this because somewhere out there, someone needs to know that you don't have to be rich before you can change a life. Sometimes, all a child needs is a plate of food, a little kindness, and someone who cares enough to say, “You will not go hungry today.” May we never forget where we are coming from, and may we always have the heart to help those still walking the road we have travelled. We can do it. One child, one meal, one act of kindness at a time. 🙏❤️ If you wish to SUPPORT me on this my DM is open.

This is how to perform CPR if someone needs it around you. Share this video. You might save a life doing so. And tag a friend who needs to learn this. 1. Make sure the person is safe 2. Call for help 3. Check for breathing 4. Place the heel of your hand in between the chest 5. Compress chest 30 times 6. Raise jaw and breathe into mouth 7. Repeat this process until you get the required help

This is completely wrong. How can MJ be $500 M in debt if He still owned music publishing catalogues worth over 2 B dollars. Not to mention his own music catalog. Please explain that to me. And while we are mentioning 500 M dollars. Michael Jackson also gave over 500 million dollars to charity over his lifetime. He could have been more selfish and less charitable like everyone else. But that’s what made him MJ.
Michael Jackson told Martin Bashir he was worth over $1B. In 2009, he died more than $500M in debt. Las Vegas, 2002. "I remember getting $200,000 checks in the mail when I was like 12, 13 years old." Bashir asks what he's worth now. "It's way up there." "Come on, Martin. I've done really well." Over $1B? He says yes. Then his favorite store in town. "See, this is the shop. I bought so much stuff here." 2 urns. $275,000 each. Bashir guesses the bill at a couple of million dollars. The manager won't say. Later, Bashir put the day at $6M. To Bashir, it looks like Louis XIV's palace. "It's my taste." In 2005, a forensic accountant testified. His finances at the time of the documentary: $415M owed, about $130M in assets. He was spending $20M to $30M a year more than he earned. In June 2009, he died owing more than $500M. One question came before the shopping. "Have you always been good with your money?" "With my money? Yes."

She is 31 years old 🇳🇬 Tems didn't speak until she was three years old and used music as her main way to express herself. In high school, she was bullied for her deep voice and sang in falsetto to sound more "feminine" Her mom only let her listen to Christian music as a kid. She discovered R&B and hip-hop in her teens At 15, she stopped listening to other artists entirely to develop her own unique sound and identity. She started writing songs around age 9 or 10, but her first official song around 17 was about "a Sunday morning" Almost all her music is created through freestyling in the studio. She taught herself how to produce and engineer beats by watching YouTube tutorials Before music fame, she studied economics at Monash South Africa (IIE MSA) in Johannesburg Tems worked a corporate 9-5 job in digital marketing and quit in 2018 after a devotional message pushed her to go full-time with music She once cooked peppery chicken stew and rice for Drake and his team. They loved it despite the spice... Hehe She's a huge tea lover, thanks to her British-Nigerian dad's side Tems describes her early music journey as being "born in the wilderness" Facing mental struggles and doubters while quitting her job to chase music . . . . You've seen it all for yourself Tems is currently at 36.5 million monthly listener on Spotify. But after reading all these above, you can see why she achieved this. She used the entire of her childhood to do the one thing she's so good at. And then used her teenage period to fine tune her own uniqueness. . . . She has spent around 2 decades just doing one thing. Music Imagine you put in over 20 years in your own craft Just imagine how much better you'd have gotten. . . And this shows that nothing beats long term planning. . . So today, kindly sit down and think of something you really love doing. Something that you know very well can open doors for you in future, if you put in more efforts and attention to it. Then take that thing and go after it. Don't plan anything about it now. Just do something. Get that motion. Open that app and create something. Go to the market and get that tool to start. Call that person to send a demo practice to them. . . Just make sure you get your motion activated. And then be true to it. Don't be distracted. If you focus on it close enough, you will be surprised at how much that one thing would change your life. This is what I plan on doing. This is what you should plan on doing. Just do it and be true to it. And do it today . . Thank you very much for reading 🫂 . . ✍️ Vincent the Therapist

Honestly, I do not understand how people can lock lips with another person who they do not have deep feelings for I mean they just met some people in like, bustops or very random public places and within an hour or 2 of meeting themselves, they'd be kissing already Someone one told me that the biggest turnoff to them reading kissing, is when the lips of the other person is chapped and broken. Or even bleeding. Lip therapy is essential ngl. If you know you love kisses or you are an heavy kisser, then invest into making your lips look hydrated, soft and good textured. Just here imagining if this happened in Ghana. Chances are, you might struggle to find a bystander who knows how to perform CPR. The people coming to help might resort to pouring water on you and I doubt there would be a defibrillator nearby. We really need to do better both as citizens and as a country. CPR training and access to defibrillators should be taken more seriously.

Let me teach you some popular and psychological concepts and their meanings. 1. Schrödinger's Douchebag: Someone who makes an offensive statement and only decides whether they were joking or serious based on how people react. Example: A man insults you, and when you get offended, he says, “Can't you take a joke?” 2. Recency Bias: Judging someone based on their most recent behaviour while ignoring their past actions. Example: Someone who has helped you for years makes one mistake, and you suddenly treat them as a bad person. 3. Sunk Cost Fallacy: Staying in a bad relationship because of the time, money, or effort you have already invested. Example: You know your partner is wrong for you, but you stay because you have spent five years together. 4. Projection: Attributing your own undesirable feelings, motives, or behaviours to someone else. Example: A man who is cheating constantly accuses his partner of infidelity. 5. Intermittent Reinforcement: When unpredictable rewards make a behaviour harder to stop. Example: Someone who treats you badly most of the time but occasionally showers you with affection can make you more attached because you keep hoping for the good moments. 6. Fundamental Attribution Error: Judging someone's character without considering their circumstances. Example: You see someone being rude to a cashier and conclude they are a terrible person without considering that they may be under extreme stress.
I'm open to learning new things. Teach me something you think I might find useful. I'm willing to learn.
