In sports, hard work secures records and victory. But beyond the glory, other records are breaking our planet. Turn up the sound and listen closely. Extreme weather, floods, fires – are escalating. Leaders must take action. RT if you want to see them #ChangeClimateChange

Pledges on renewables, efficiency & methane at #COP28 are positive steps, but brand new @IEA analysis shows the pledges bridge only 30% of the gap in 2030 toward reaching climate goals An “orderly & just decline of global fossil fuel use” is needed to keep 1.5C in reach More ⬇️

We can’t let our world go #UpInSmoke 🏭🌍 Fossil fuels like coal, oil and gas are the main drivers of the climate crisis. Leaders meeting at #COP28 must agree on a plan to phase them out ⏬ To help people and nature, we must move towards more efficient, renewable energy NOW.

🛢️Fossil Fuels are destroying our world, at #COP28 EU leaders and the @EU_Commission have a historic change to push for a fossil fuel phase out plan! Our planet can’t wait. The only solution to avoid the most catastrophic impacts of #ClimateChange is to get rid of fossil fuels.
