Michael Kim drains the putt for 59. 🔥
Michael has logged 173 Stack Putting sessions— with two being logged on Wednesday at the 3M Open!
“I basically only do Stack Putting as my putting practice now." - Michael
Congratulations on an incredible round, Michael! Wow.

Michael Kim shot 59 today on the PGA TOUR and seemed to make everything he looked at. Here's a little insight into what his putting practice has looked like lately.
He's been absolutely racking up Stack Putting sessions. He's now logged 173 total sessions, and even with a PGA TOUR event underway, he still completed two practice sessions on Wednesday.
This week at the 3M Open:
59 in Round 2
#1 in Strokes Gained: Putting (+6.59)
17-for-17 inside 20 feet
Finished with a long birdie putt on 18 for 59.
One of the coolest parts (at least for me) is seeing where those sessions happened. The Stack app logs the location of every practice session, and lately they've been popping up all over the PGA TOUR schedule—Royal Birkdale, Renaissance Club, and this week at the 3M Open. He's been putting in the work everywhere he goes.
After the round I shot Michael a quick text to congratulate him.
His reply might be my favorite Stack Putting testimonial yet:
"I basically only do Stack Putting as my putting practice now."
Congratulations, Michael. It's been fun watching all the work you've been putting in pay off this week.

FIFTY MILLION STACK SWINGS!!
We celebrated a BIG milestone this past week — Stackers across the globe have accumulated 50 MILLION speed training swings. 🤯
WOW! A big thanks to our loyal users. We appreciate you!
If you’re part of the 50 million give the like button a tap!
Max Schuemann, the #Yankees' only source of offense on Saturday, has emerged as a useful utilityman despite infrequent opportunities.
He said new tools have helped him take advantage of his limited playing time, including one designed to improve his bat speed.
More on what Schuemann has changed, how he "works his ass off" to stay ready, and his bravado:

My #1 Stacking in the Wild story is Stacking at a public driving range and receiving advice from a local to make sure I kept my head down and it would help me hit the ball… I realized later on that he thought I was swinging at the ball and missing! @TheStackSystem
While on vacation recently, I still wanted to do a stack session so I went to a nearby indoor golf simulator place. The interaction was kinda funny:
Me: Hi, can I use a bay?
Front: Sure, but did you bring any clubs?
M: No, I’m not hitting balls actually. I just need an area to swing this stick.
F: You’re not hitting ANY balls?
M: No, I’m just doing some speed training.
F: (Looks at me very dubiously🤨) How long have you been playing golf?
M: uh… like 20 some yrs.
F: So you’re not hitting ANY golf balls?
M: Not a single one. I’m just doing some speed training… I’m actually a pro.
F: I’m a pro too, where did you get ur license?
M: 😅… uh in the US.
F: ok, it’ll be 10$, you can use the very last spot there.

The next step is having players understand how to efficiently increase their bat speed. The science of speed matters. Good thing we know a guy… @SashoMacKenzie
The fact that the idea of “swinging the bat faster is better” is considered new age analytical thinking is insane.
Gaining speed/power/force production has been beneficial for every athlete in every sport since the beginning of time.
Pitchers who throw harder have higher ceilings, golfers who swing the club faster have higher ceilings, running backs who run faster have higher ceilings, basketball players who jump higher have higher ceilings etc.
Does it mean that those who are bigger/faster/stronger will automatically be better? Of course not. Skill, mental makeup, competitive edge, preparation and a thousand other things all play a massive part in overall success, but the fact that being more physically explosive and producing more force gives you a greater chance for success has always and will always be true.
Let me introduce you @SFGiants to @stack_baseball
It's pretty clear that the #SFGiants have a bat speed problem under the current regime. Willy Adames, Jung Hoo Lee, Matt Chapman, and Tyler Fitzgerald all had significant drop-offs, and while it may not seem like a lot, an average decline of almost 1 mph is huge.

Thanks to the @TheStackSystem for sending me these gold weights for winning the French open haha. It’s one of the few tools in golf that can help almost every golfer imo.

When I was a kid, the best golf tools felt out of reach.
Now, with TheStack Accelerator, we’re changing that — helping juniors access @TheStackSystem Speed, Wedging, and Putting to gamify their training like the pros.
