Dear @CMOTamilnadu,
The @Chief_Secy_TN was summoned by the Hon'ble Supreme Court for non-compliance with its directions.
Yet, nearly a year later, the State appears to have made little meaningful progress.
Tamil Nadu has a serious stray-dog menace, with an alarming incidence of dog bites. We are the number one in population to dog bites ratio.
It is time to crack the whip and ensure that stray dogs are effectively removed from public places in accordance with Supreme Court's directions:
1. Aggressive dogs must be removed from all places.
2. Stray dogs must be removed from all public places.
3. Rabid, terminally ill, severely injured, elderly, or otherwise suffering dogs with no reasonable quality of life should be terminated.
The issue requires urgent, coordinated action rather than further delay.

Veerasamy reportedly spent 15 days in jail last month in connection with a bribery case. Now, his wife has reportedly been given a party post in Chengalpattu district.
What message does this send to TVK functionaries? If people facing serious corruption cases see their families rewarded with positions, how will the party maintain discipline and discourage bribery?

TVK must set a strong example: allegations of bribery and corruption should bring scrutiny and accountability not political rewards.

A few days ago, I was surprised to receive an email from the former Chief Economic Advisor of our country, Arvind Subramanian, saying that he and his team would be in Chennai and were interested in meeting me.
I met the former CEA and his team for a freewheeling chat today. The two hours were well spent.
I would suggest reading his book 'A Sixth of Humanity' to get a complete data and facts based perspective on our country.
