The EJS Center warmly congratulates Amujae Leader Cllr. Charlyne M. Brumskine on her appointment as a Judge of the ECOWAS Court of Justice.
At the recent ECOWAS Authority of Heads of State and Government summit, regional leaders approved Cllr. Brumskine among five new judges to the Court, the body responsible for safeguarding citizens’ rights across West Africa.
A distinguished lawyer, entrepreneur, and advocate for the rule of law and gender rights, Cllr. Brumskine brings nearly two decades of legal experience to the bench. Her appointment reflects exactly the kind of principled public leadership the Amujae Initiative exists to advance: women stepping into the highest seats of decision-making and shaping the institutions that serve their people.
We celebrate this milestone with her and look forward to the impact she will make on justice and regional integration across the sub-region. @CllrBrumskine @ecowas_cedeao @ecowascourt

Kenyans burnt down their parliament because of an obnoxious tax.
Insensitive & spineless Ghanaian MPs baked a cake to celebrate a tax imposition.
They said Ghanaians are fools. Ghanaians said we aren’t, just wait.

Fellow Ayawaso West Wuogon constituents,
I am an NPP guy but I'll plead with you to give John Dumelo a chance. Maa Lydia has nothing to offer us. I know what is coming; it is not looking good should she take the seat. Permit me to re-eco Ken's words; Ghana First 🇬🇭
Thank you.
Honestly when I think of what Ghc 28 million a month can do to improve lives of people with disabilities, the adaptations which could be made to make schools accessible, the medical care, the interventions which could ease up things for their caregivers ..hmm #nss #Corruption

Ghanaians should be able to thrive in the land of their birth. That is not an unrealistic desire.

From political parties having access to the phone numbers of registered voters and sending them personalized messages, to personally identifiable information being used in chatbots, there is clearly a privacy protection problem. Ghana has a Data Protection Commission, but what is it doing about this? Perhaps the country needs to face a class action suit before it starts taking data protection seriously.
This also raises concerns about what is happening with all the data that has been collected as part of the Ghana Card project.
