Well, not that he “can’t.” However,
1.I’ve always desired to worship where the man I marry worships, so I chose well from the onset.
2.He’s more invested in TCN than I am in CCI, so we weighed our options.
3. I trust his leadership, which means I trust where he’s been discipled.

If every conversation for you is an opportunity to start gender war, you cannot be happy in life.
You genuinely cannot.

Everyone now uses luma
This used to be Eventbrite and then we had Tix now it’s Luma
I’d love to hear thoughts or read about this transition of events adoption.

Big launch at the office today!
So you see, HR technology in Africa has largely been built for people who sit at a desk, whereas most of Africa's workforce doesn’t. Even the guys who do, sometimes don’t want to log in to a whole new system to carry out simple tasks.
So today, @getPaidHR is launching WhatsApp and USSD access across Nigeria, Ghana and Kenya. Employees can now check or download their payslips, request leave and access their earned wages without downloading an app or logging into a portal.
For employers, this means every worker gets the same HR experience as your office staff, whether they are on a site, in a warehouse, at a branch or on a shift. It needs no new hardware and no new app.
Personally, this is a massive milestone for me. I’ve always wanted to break the barriers and obstacles of adoption on our platform and I’m more than proud of the team who worked on this to give thousands of people on the PaidHR platform more access to the life-improving tools we built for them. Shout out to @lekanutty and the whole team.
Introduce me to your HR team, finance or ops teams. Let’s elevate the work experience for you and them.

Idolising church leaders is nothing new. In Lystra, the people there tried to worship Paul and Barnabas as gods, and they refused it by tearing their clothes.
The lesson is that it’s the leader's duty to nip that madness in the bud and keep the focus on God.

There’s only one way to cure low self-esteem: gather much evidence that you’re who you think you are. To do that, you must be ready to fail a lot.
As stablecoins become more embedded in cross-border payments, compliance infrastructure is emerging as a critical test of whether payment providers can scale without increasing regulatory and counterparty risk.
@Oneremit_ says its integration of Blockradar screens every stablecoin transaction across its settlement network against AML and sanctions lists before it accepts or releases funds.
According to Tobiloba Obasa, Oneremit's Director of Finance, the objective extends beyond regulatory compliance. Maintaining time-stamped records of transaction screening can support reconciliation, external audits, regulatory reporting and due diligence by banking partners and institutional counterparties.

Individual wealth can shield you from many personal struggles, but it can never fully protect you from systemic failure. No amount of money can indefinitely compensate for a society that is fundamentally broken.

why have we regressed into trying to enforce gender roles all over again. we are meant to be equals. “the role was assigned to them and they hate it” yes? just like women’s gender roles were assigned to us and we hate it too. wtf is everyone on!

Una own dey always different. I told my barber I was getting married and I got a free haircut and this guy still came for the wedding and dropped brown envelope
So a woman booked a full-face makeup appointment for $200 and went to her wedding. Now the makeup artist is upset because she normally charges brides $800 for the SAME makeup.
Since when do we get mad because somebody didn’t pay a wedding markup? The makeup didn’t take any longer just because she was a bride! 😂

The nation is poor and bleeding.
About ten years ago, once it’s November, you’d begin to smell Christmas on the streets, in the local shops, in churches, even in schools.
A lot has been stolen from us, basic things now feel like luxury.
