The recently concluded 'Kimormor' – One Health initiative in Turkana West reached close to 7,000 pure pastoralists with the much-needed #healthcare interventions. This combined approach also enabled communities to have their animals treated & vaccinated.

ALT The ‘Kimormor’ initiative provides one-stop-shop health and social development services to the nomadic population in Turkana County. Services offered include immunization, nutrition, HIV testing, family planning, ophthalmology, vaccination, deworming, nutritional support, diagnosis, and treatment.
Very excited to join this activity! Not only to see Kimormor in action but also start our research in the field where we will explore #OneHealth dynamics with community members to improve policy and community health and well-being. 🙏🏻🙏🏻
