Happy Mashujaa Day 2026! Today, Kenya marks Mashujaa Day 2026, the 63rd since independence, honouring the heroes who fought for our freedom and those building our nation today. This year's celebrations are historic: for the first time, three counties; Elgeyo Marakwet, Nandi, and Uasin Gishu, are jointly hosting the national fete at the Kipchoge Keino Stadium in Eldoret. The theme is "Security, Sports and the Finance Sector (The Economy)." This Mashujaa Day, we invite our network to: Support conservation initiatives led by community heroes. Tell their stories: heroes are remembered when we speak their names. Be a hero yourself: stewardship is patriotism in action. To all the 'shujaas' protecting Kenya's environment: Asanteni. You are seen. You are honoured. #MashujaaDay #MashujaaDay2026 #KenyanHeroes #STTA #Kenya #ConservationHeroes #SustainableTourism #TunzaMazingira
