It's difficult to tell where the impulsive move on $CVX actually began- but at least off the $2.10 lows we have a clearly impulsive, completed, 5 wave structure.
Most likely it's just a subwave within a larger extended wave that began in one of the 3 circled moves in green.
In any case- our move to the larger range highs at $8 has officially begun imo.
Expecting corrections from here on to be relatively shallow until that initial target of $8+ is met.

Attention all Curvers and Convexers, this is your captain speaking.
Ladies and llamas, as we prepare for takeoff, please ensure your seatbelts are securely fastened, your seatbacks and tray tables are in their full upright and locked positions, and all carry-on luggage is securely stowed either in the overhead bins or completely underneath the seat in front of you. All electronic devices must now be switched to moon mode. Lightly carbonated beverages and snacks will be served once we have reached cruising altitude.
Please enjoy the flight and thank you for flying Credi-Curve airlines ๐ซก

๐ Convex Finance โ BlackRock of DeFi, in a way?
At first glance, that sounds like a crazy comparison. But let's dig a little deeper.
BlackRock is the world's largest asset manager, overseeing around $15.5 trillion.
Just imagine the scale: shares in thousands of companies, bonds, funds, real estate, and entire investment strategies.
But the most interesting part isn't just the money.
It's economic influence.
By managing clients' assets, BlackRock also participates in corporate voting within the authority delegated to it.
And here's where an unexpected parallel emerges.
Convex Finance.
The two are nowhere near comparable in terms of capital. But there's a fascinating similarity in how their influence works:
Aggregating resources from many participants and turning them into significant collective power.
Convex has spent years accumulating locked CRV and now controls approximately 54% of Curve's voting power.
Through vlCVX, participants can influence which liquidity pools receive CRV emissions.
And what do those emissions mean for a DeFi pool?
Incentives for liquidity providers.
A way to attract capital, improve trading conditions, and grow a market.
Now, let's revisit the Curve Wars.
Protocols bought CVX, locked tokens, competed for votes, and offered incentives.
An entire market emerged where voting power acquired measurable economic value.
And Convex became one of the central pillars of that infrastructure.
And the story goes far beyond Curve.
Convex also participates in the voting economies of Frax, f(x), and Resupply.
Now imagine the future.
๐ Tokenized stocks, bonds, real estate, commodities. Thousands of new onchain markets competing for liquidity.
Who will help direct economic incentives toward them?
Who will aggregate voting power?
Who will build the infrastructure through which projects can attract that power?
Perhaps Convex has already spent years building one of the answers.
And here's another fascinating detail: CVX has reached its maximum supply of 100 million tokens. A substantial portion of that supply is locked in vlCVX.
Meanwhile, the CVX chart has looked for years as if the market had almost forgotten it exists.
Of course, there's an important limit to the BlackRock comparison.
BlackRock manages real investment portfolios on behalf of clients, while Convex aggregates rights within DeFi protocols.
CVX isn't equity in Convex, nor does it represent ownership of its assets.
Still, the parallel is worth thinking about.
In traditional finance, giants manage capital.
In DeFi, giants are emerging that aggregate the power to influence where capital is incentivized to flow.
These are different forms of economic power. But both can play important roles in shaping markets.
And as tokenization expands, voting infrastructure could become significantly more valuable.
That's what makes Convex so interesting to me.
Not just the CVX price on a screen.
But the role this system has already established โ and the role it could potentially play in the financial architecture of the future.
๐ฉ Defitea Yield Fund (part of @theholding_) is building its own kind of veGallery โ a collection of fundamentally strong, cash-flow-generating tokens.
And CVX (vlCVX) holds a special place in it.
Always happy to share these kinds of creative deep dives and make complex DeFi concepts a little easier to understand.
๐ A quiet DeFi giant you could easily overlook if you only looked at the chart.
Convex Finance ethereum:0x4e3fbd56cd56c3e72c1403e103b45db9da5b9d2b
Just look at its history.
Back in late 2021, CVX was trading close to $50.
Today? Around $2.50.
Years of decline, endless sideways action, occasional rallies, and then... silence again.
For anyone chasing beautiful charts, there's seemingly nothing exciting here.
๐ But let's take a look under the hood.
On October 15, 2026, CVX reached a historic milestone: its maximum supply of 100 million tokens was fully minted.
That's it.
No more CVX will be created under the original emission schedule. Token inflation from new CVX issuance has officially come to an end.
And here's where things get even more interesting.
๐ Around 46.3 million CVX are locked in the vlCVX voting system.
That's roughly 46% of the entire maximum supply!
And those tokens aren't just sitting there doing nothing.
They give holders a say in one of DeFi's most fascinating pieces of financial infrastructure.
Convex @ConvexFinance controls approximately 54% of all Curve @CurveFinance voting power. Through vlCVX, participants can influence how CRV emissions are distributed across liquidity pools.
But the story goes well beyond Curve.
Convex also participates in the economics and governance of Frax, f(x) Protocol, and Resupply.
Think about that for a moment.
While the CVX chart looked painfully boring for years, an enormous system for aggregating voting power and directing economic incentives was developing beneath the surface.
๐โโ๏ธ And remember how we recently explored the Curve Wars?
How protocols compete for votes, how incentives attract liquidity, and how voting power can become a genuinely productive economic resource.
Convex has been right at the heart of that economy all along.
Now imagine the years ahead.
๐ Tokenized stocks, real estate, bonds, commodities, and entirely new onchain companies.
Potentially thousands of markets that will need liquidity. ๐
And infrastructure capable of concentrating voting power and directing economic incentives toward the markets that need them.
Of course, there's no guarantee that the future of tokenization will revolve around Curve or Convex.
But the potential scale of this kind of infrastructure is fascinating to think about.
Especially now that CVX emissions have ended and a substantial portion of the existing supply remains locked.
That doesn't automatically mean the price will rise. Tokens can unlock, competition isn't going away, and long-term value depends on real demand for voting power and the cash flows behind it.
But this is where real investment research gets interesting.
When you spend years accumulating through DCA, studying the protocol, following its economics, voting mechanisms, and infrastructure development instead of just waiting for the next green candle.
That takes patience. And the market certainly doesn't owe you a reward for it.
But sometimes these are exactly the stories that become fascinating when the market eventually starts reassessing their value.
Not when everyone is suddenly shouting about them.
But much earlier, when the chart is boring, attention is low, and a serious economic machine is already running beneath the surface.
Convex is one of those DeFi giants I find especially interesting to follow over the long term.
A token is a price on a screen.
But behind that price, there can be an entire architecture of capital.

Oh, and aside from $CVX having literally zero token emissions/inflation moving forward, I forgot to also mention that 46.3% of all the CVX that will ever exist is locked and in-accessible (for 4 months at a time).
So if you don't have any $CVX and you want some- you won't get any from token inflation, you won't get any of the 46.3% of supply that is locked, the only way you can get some is to buy it off of the remaining 53% that isn't literally inaccessible.
Meanwhile, I've already made the case to argue that price could be 4x higher than it is today within a month.
So, good luck to those trying to accumulate a sizeable bag at this stage- it won't be easy ๐ซก
100% of all the $CVX that will ever exist has now been minted.
There will never be any new $CVX created and if youโre not holding any right now the only way to get it is to buy it off someone else on the open market...
And I speak for myself here but I think many other holders probably feel the same way- Iโm not letting mine go for cheap ๐ค

The last "significant" move on $CVX took us from $1.40 to $8+ in literally 30 days.
That move formed the current range that we have been basing out in for nearly 2 years now.
It is now time to break this range to the upside.
RSI across all timeframes is in a better position now than it was then, which means momentum this time around is likely to be even stronger now than it was then.
It's not only possible, but probable, that $CVX could be trading at $8+ within a month, especially considering how bullish $CRV looks at the moment and recognizing that we have made a separate argument that justifies outperformance from $CVX over $CRV on this next leg to the upisde.
The only major factor that could derail this timeline imo is if $BTC suffers a larger, aggressive pullback that drags the whole market down a bit with it- but even $BTC currently sits at a key support zone which reduces the likelihood of that scenario imo.

I just cast my ballot for James Talarico.
As a second-generation Indian American, I am thoroughly disgusted by the xenophobia, racial resentment, and increasingly brazen attacks on my identity. My family has contributed to the American story through hard work, sacrifice, and an unwavering belief in the opportunities this nation promises. I am every bit as American as anyone else, and I will not tolerate being treated as a perpetual foreigner in the country I call home.
I implore every eligible Texan to get out and vote. This election is about the kind of state and country we are prepared to defendโand the principles we refuse to surrender.

I appreciate this but nobody should have to do it. Casting a ballot is a right every American citizen has. Barriers should be minimal and painless.
Goes without saying, but that applies to every ballot, not just red or blue.

Another Russian ballistic missile attack came in several waves overnight, and once again, there was no early warning from our partners. They again targeted energy facilities and infrastructure, but a medical clinic, a school, a metro station, and ordinary residential buildings were also damaged. In total, the Russians launched 16 ballistic missiles in a deliberate attack on Kyiv and the Kyiv region. The Russians also launched more than 200 drones of various types, including jet-powered โshaheds,โ with attacks spanning from the Kharkiv and Dnipro regions to the Volyn, Rivne, and Odesa regions. Sadly, there are casualties. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Those who were injured are receiving assistance. Overnight and this morning, Russia attacked energy facilities in the Vinnytsia, Volyn, Kirovohrad, Kyiv, Mykolaiv, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, Kharkiv, Ternopil, Odesa, and Rivne regions. In this one night alone, more than 10 energy infrastructure facilities were damaged, and the lights went out for at least 550,000 families. Repair crews are working at the sites.
Ukraine never wanted this war, and we have welcomed literally EVERY attempt by our partners to bring this war to a dignified end. We have responded positively to EVERY ceasefire proposal. Russia's response, time and again, has been ballistic missiles, โshaheds,โ and killings. Putin not only doesn't want to end this war โ he doesn't even want to take any steps toward de-escalation. EVERY ONE of our partners has experienced this firsthand when they heard Russia's refusals. And it is crucial to call things what they are. To call the aggressor an aggressor and help Ukraine defend lives. When deliveries of missiles for Ukraine's air defense are blocked while Russia is granted relief or delays in sanctions, this is, unfortunately, a denial of reality on the part of our partners. The reality is that the war continues, and it continues solely because of Russian strikes and Russia's desire to drag this war out. I thank everyone who recognizes this reality and helps Ukraine!

A Brief History of Rigged Elections.
For 250 years American elections were fine. People who won, won, people who lost, conceded. No whining or crying.
In 2016 Trump won. Hillary Clinton didn't whine. She conceded like a true American.
But then in 2020 something happened. For the first time in our history, a presidential nominee who lost, Donald Trump, refused to concede.
He cried, caused an insurrection, and had to be dragged out of the White House by his cankles.
Cut to 2024. Trump wins. Again, no whining by Kamala Harris. She concedes like a true American.
Now we're 16 days from midterms. And Donald is whining already. Blaming illegals, ID laws, mail-in-ballots, voting machines, dead people, Antifa, and socialists.
He's right. We do have a rigging problem. It's called Donald Trump.
Our system worked great for every election at every level for 250 years...
Until jelly donut took office.
