Whoah! I live in a large turn of the century 4 bedroom very drafty villa and you can see when we had the fireplace reinstated around June and turned off the heaters. Feb was when we had the spa plugged in all month.
First day back at the office in a long long time. Not in a people mood so squirreled away in the quiet zone. Grabbed some seedlings from the koha table to brighten up my desk for the day and fill my belly with zucchini another day! Grateful that I work in a place like this.
Been kinda quiet lately. Been trying to survive life with a whirlwind. Today we took said whirlwind to play with her sister. Meet Yuka (ours, the black) and Itsa.

Pic in the early stage of the operation, the non flashing vehicle is in our driveway. It took all those agencies two hours to clear it so the lifeys could get further up the road to help with evacs with their IRBs.
Heaps of leaks we are having to just monitor until it's over.
I'm unbelievable. I just squished two mosquitoes in a row. What's so unbelievable about that, you say? Both were exterminated by way of 'one hand clapping'... in the dark. 💅

A friend's elderly dog whose name I can't recall right now. He was disappointed that I wasn't allowed to come sniff him the day before his trip to the salon.

Rubes the stray, eating some food left out for them. They'll come as close as the doormat just inside the door but no further.
