Absolutely. The marketing of NIPT here in Australia is also somewhat in code, some talks of reducing need for invasive tests and "Your results will identify whether or not your baby is carrying any of the chrome conditions listed". GC only avail post-result (often only one appt)

My favorite/least favorite: patient has been on a PCSK-9 inhibitor for 3 years, same insurance denies paying for it this year because his LDL cholesterol is to goal and not high enough to warrant it - BECAUSE OF THAT MEDICATION 🤯 @VietHeartPA any similar stories?

We thought public health was the responsibility of the CDC. Especially during the worst pandemic in a 100 years. Yes, we make individual choices, but the vaccine is not universally available, both because of age restrictions and access issues. Our health is in your hands, CDC.
