Vibe-coded OSS libs are almost meaningless today
The value of open source has never really been to publish code for free
The value has always been someone willing to maintain that code for the years to come, so that you can rely on it

Deno is the only slightly tolerable JS runtime to me and seeing it die is a bit distressing. I know people overreact to open source going out of maintenance and that is what I am doing here, but I don't know of a better JS runtime for embedding or vendoring right now.
dear Deno you are excited for your death?!
We are excited to announce that Deno is joining Cloudflare!

Not everything needs to be rewritten in a native language. If we do, we end up with one big binary that’s hard to split up or extend, forcing us to bake more into it and making the binary even more bloated and harder to extend.
JS/TS’s flexibility and composability matter too.

📦 Chrome 154 - Responsive iframe resizing 🤯
Letting an <iframe> resize based on the size of its embedded document
Haven't all widget/extension authors dreamed of this for years? 😆
Instead of using postMessage({resize})

Use Jev to tell whether a failed CI job is flaky, it gets around 90% precision and recall.
Maybe we could have something automatically call Jev and re-run jobs it thinks are flaky. That could make flaky CI less frustrating and stop it from constantly taking up our attention.
Selected a balanced mix of flaky and non-flaky jobs from Rslint’s failed jobs over the past month, then used logs as input. Compared Jev’s results against GPT-5.6 Sol’s judgments.
More than 2/3 Rslint CI job failures are flaky. That doesn’t feel great.
