An Ode to a loving Son! To many you are Hon. Dr Demilade Akin-Alabi, or Genio or Demi or all but to me you are simply my BabyDoc!!! And today it's your birthday and all I am led to do is to highlight your transition from being a rugrat, to medicine to politics, and showcase your creative side, and gentlemanly nature. Happy 33rd Birthday dear son! Looking back at the day you were born, I never could have imagined the incredible journey we would share. Raising you was an absolute delight. From your very first steps to the man you are today, you have brought nothing but pure joy, laughter, and immense pride into my life. It feels like just yesterday we were celebrating your graduation as a medical doctor nine years ago. Watching you dedicate yourself to healing others was profound, but seeing you evolve into a budding politician—using that same compassion to serve the community on a grander scale—fills me with awe. You have always possessed a rare, fierce focus, and whatever you set your mind to, you master. Yet, what I love most about you is how beautifully balanced you are. You are a creative entertainer who can light up any room with your talent, but you remain an unassuming, humble soul. Through all your achievements, your brilliant mind, and your busy life, you have never lost your kindness. You are, and have always been, a complete gentleman. As you step into your 33rd year, I pray that your focus remains sharp, your creativity continues to flow, and your heart stays guided by the same integrity that defines you.
