I will be speaking with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and his team this week to discuss Starshield, sanctions, and other matters pertaining to the defense of our strong ally, Ukraine. I will be assuring President Zelenskyy that anyone who attempts to limit the use of Starshield for Ukraine will be fully investigated and will be held fully accountable, to include public congressional oversight hearings, and immediate harsh and punitive budget cuts to any responsible agency or agency head.
Congress will unequivocally reaffirm that Ukraine is an indispensable ally to the United States, that Russia is a self-declared enemy of the United States, and that the United States will 100% support and defend the people of Ukraine in their fight for their own freedom against this brutal, illegal, and unprovoked Russian invasion.
The United States must provide any and all defensive equipment that Ukraine needs to defend itself. The United States must not import a single drop of Russian oil. Sanctions against the Russian regime must be harsher and stronger than they’ve ever been before. Each and every one of these items will be brought to the House Floor—and each and every one of these items will pass on the House Floor by an overwhelming margin.
This is, after all, what Ronald Reagan would do. And this is what we will do now. Ukraine can, and will, defeat Russia. #PeaceThroughStrength

I would never pay to see this garbage. It’s absolute trash.
He ain’t even touching his guitar yet you hear all kinds of guitar parts. I don’t want to hear anyone defending this trash.
There’s no defense for this. Hire another guitarist then.
I want my live music live.

NEW: Ten years on, Prime Minister @andyburnham tells @campbellclaret & @RoryStewartUK that there was ‘clear’ Russian interference in the Brexit vote.
FINALLY after years of cover-ups & denials from the highest levels of the UK govt. That in itself deserves an inquiry.

As well as being a politician and highly successful novelist, don't forget Jeffrey Archer was a pretty nasty fraudster - like his father. In short, he was a crook. Many broadcasters - some who never dared ask him any tough questions - will gloss over that today.

He was a bomber.
He made multiple explosive devices and had illegal stun guns.
Would you be saying the same had it been an engineer from Afghanistan?
Of course not. You’re happy with terrorists as long as they’re white.
A retired engineer who destroyed @SadiqKhan ULEZ camera jailed for 15 years. A ridiculous sentence. No wonder our orisons are overcrowded
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Kevin Rees was sentenced to 15 years for causing an explosion likely to endanger life after using a homemade bomb to destroy a ULEZ camera in a Sidcup residential street, damaging cars and property up to 100m away with shrapnel near a child's bedroom.

This is why people are losing confidence in Hillingdon Council.
The Deputy Leader used a pseudonym to comment on local issues as though he were a member of the public.
This cannot be brushed aside. Residents deserve honesty and transparency from those representing them.

THE SNL SKETCH THAT MADE A COMPLETELY NORMAL WORD IMPOSSIBLE TO HEAR
When Alec Baldwin walked onto SNL's “Delicious Dish” as Pete Schweddy, the joke wasn't supposed to be complicated.
He was simply a man talking about his holiday food.
That's it.
The hosts were Margaret Jo McCullen and Teri Rialto, played by Ana Gasteyer and Molly Shannon.
They spoke in the calm, measured style of public-radio hosts.
No screaming.
No exaggerated reactions.
No obvious comedy.
Then Pete Schweddy arrived.
He owned a bakery.
And he had brought some of his special holiday treats.
Including his famous...
Schweddy Balls.
The entire sketch was built around the fact that the hosts could discuss these completely innocent food items without ever acknowledging the obvious double meaning.
Pete could describe them.
The hosts could praise them.
They could ask about their size, texture and smell.
And everyone remained completely serious.
That restraint was the joke.
The sketch originally aired December 12, 1998.
And it became one of those SNL sketches where the audience understands the joke almost immediately, but the performers refuse to acknowledge that they understand it.
That's what made it work.
Nobody had to shout the punchline.
The audience supplied it themselves.
And the longer the characters continued speaking seriously about Pete Schweddy's balls, the more ridiculous the entire conversation became.
