Hello again Twitter!!
On September 1st, I posted my dissertation flyer. I JUST noticed that I made a massive blunder and entered the wrong phone number. SO EMBARRASSING!
Here's a corrected flyer!
I’m using some neat techniques, like motion capture, dynamometry, ultrasound, and MRI!
I’m seeking persons in the Los Angeles area who have a history of Achilles tendon pain to participate in my studies.
Hello Twitter! I’m excited to promote my dissertation research! Again! With a slightly updated flyer!
My research aims to understand how the human body adapts to Achilles tendon pain/degeneration, by looking at the effects on muscle structure/function and joint function!

My buddy David ( @dtow18 ) was having issues stabilizing a transducer for ultrasound measurements of the calf muscles, so I 3D printed him a custom “cage” to clear up the images! A second one is in the works currently for the Achilles’ tendon.

Congratulations to our first ever #PTResearchMadness champion! We are so thankful to our participating PT researchers for sharing their work and for their many contributions to the profession. There's more to come!
How can you help your patients to learn new movement patterns?
In a perspectives paper in @PTJournal, we provide an overview of 4 distinct, well-studied mechanisms of human motor learning and describe their key features.
