This is M1 South from JHB towards Southgate mall. The Gauteng provincial government, through the City of Johannesburg made sure that all the street lights were functioning in the build up to the G20 summit in November 2025.
Not a single light is functioning right now.

Tshwane runs out of chlorine at Bronko. Fails to inform public or do anything for 3 weeks. 400 people get sick. And now cholera bacteria is detected the water. Who benefits from Tshwane running out of chlorine for 3 weeks? The water tanker contractors who now have to step in.

The ANC has been hard at work, democratising poverty and hardship. Some formerly tarred roads have been transformed into gravel roads. It’s a noble mission that germinated from INJURY TO ONE IS INJURY TO ALL!!! They don’t want rural folks to be alone in the hard slog of using gravel roads.
