Regardless of your views on LTNs and @CllrScottArthur’s wilful disregard for residents’ clearly expressed wishes, this is not OK. No matter how frustrating the tone-deaf council gets, play the ball, not the man.

We can only hope the perpetrators of this graffiti and wilful damage will be identified and prosecuted, @CllrScottArthur
If you missed it yesterday, this is how Leith is looking today.

It’s only ever been about crumbs from the SNP’s table. It’s why the Scottish Greens so readily exchanged environmentalism for nationalism. Possibly the only party in the global green movement to do so and they’ll suffer for it when the SNP collapse.

This was because the undemocratic, unelected anti-motorist cycling pressure group Sustrans gets unfettered access to primary schools to indoctrinate children, unquestioned. To say the kids were led down a path as part of Sustrans’ LTN campaign would be an understatement.
Looking back at how we got to Corstorphine’s trial LTN, this 2021 piece sees children outlining the safer streets they want to see around their schools, the main reason for the Manse Road bus gate. Do pupils deserve a safe walk to school? theedinburghreporter.co.uk/2…

80 attendees in 2017 v a minimum count of 525 last night, almost universally opposed to the Corstorphine LTN on a show of hands. @trafficlow are in a very small minority in supporting the Corstorphine LTN. It showed, emphatically, last night. @ACECorstorphine
In October 2017 a public meeting took place in Corstorphine organised by @CorstorphineCC to discuss traffic/congestion issues, from speeding and rat runs to commuter and airport parking. Has @agcolehamilton forgotten he was there? corstorphinecc.uk/traffic/co…

This underlines starkly why you should take anything @PidginPosting & his ableist cycling friends say with a big pinch of salt. His ‘couple of hundred’ is actually a verifiable minimum count of 525, as images in this thread show. Great turnout on a wet night @ACECorstorphine !
Walked past the anti-LTN protest - couple of hundred there. About as diverse as a Spokes meeting. First speaker opened up with “I’ve lived in Corstorphine for 25 years and it has always been safe to walk and cycle in”.

Three unique images taken at the same time - no crossover, a green tag on each individual to ensure no double counting. There were a few additional people to the left hand side / beside the point of shot.

Thanks for all your feedback and comments. Truly wonderful to see how united the #corstorphine community is 😀💚 💪

Maybe he’s forgotten as only 80 of the community attended? There were 500 if not more last night… and the mood could not have been more clear.

Here’s the civic, joyous co-chair of @TrafficLow. A very large and rapidly growing group of concerned Corstorphine residents must have a “rotten core” if they disagree with Two Cars Chris on the hated (and overwhelmingly rejected) Corstorphine LTN 🤷🏼‍♂️ xitter.cf/notenoughearth/status/…

This is one you just installed in Corstorphine. Note aesthetic enhancements including shopping trolleys and traffic cones, plus headache-inducing road paint that is already cracking up. Seems lovely.
We want to hear your thoughts on parklets: small community gathering spaces for people to stop, relax and socialise. Would you like to see them in your local area? Our survey with @ESALA_Edinburgh @OPENspace_rc closes on 7th April: bit.ly/parkletsedinburgh

Nicola Sturgeon plans to win over critics of her trans reforms by selling it as ‘constitutional battle’. Her rhetoric around it will be to move as far away from the actual issue and try to turn it into a more general constitutional grievance: - msn.com/en-gb/news/uknews/ni…

Be in no doubt: we WILL identify the source of this leak, and that individual will face the full force of the First Minister. Leaks to the press are absolutely unacceptable in the Scottish Government, unless explicitly sanctioned by Nicola. Absolute rageballs. 🤬🤬🤬

The Bottle deposit scheme as being led by the Greens and championed by Nicola Sturgeon is genuinely one of the worst ideas I've seen in politics. It will make Scotland poorer:

Sustrans still coining it in, charging taxpayers fat consultancy fees to promote their political agenda. And Lambeth Council appears desperate to avoid revealing the information…

14 month after FOI, ICO have forced @lambeth_council to disclose consultancy fees paid to @sustrans since 2018:>£400k! Looks like there was a plot to push NIMBY socially unjust greenwashing traffic/congestion relocation schemes WAY before Boris got on the bandwagon! #LTNInquiry
