It was great opportunity to share our vision for India’s space launch future! @astrobase_space @INSPACeIND
What about ground infrastructure for space research ? @grok what’s happening in the image attached (ref : xitter.cf/chinascience/status/20…)
China's Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical Radio Telescope (FAST) has consistently produced important scientific findings since becoming fully operational in 2020. Most recently, in January, it helped an international research team find key evidence about the origin of mysterious fast radio bursts, Jiang Peng, a National People's Congress deputy and the chief engineer of the FAST, shared during the #2026TwoSessions.
He added that his team is planning a major upgrade called the "Core Array", which involves building dozens of antennas, each 40 meters in diameter, to work together with the main telescope. This will dramatically improve its resolution, like turning a "sketch pencil" into a high-definition "digital camera." The project is in its final evaluation stage, with key technologies already developed and tested.

The statistics are great!! A look at space activity report (2024) gives more accurate picture especially the china data.
CASC is only one of the contractor for China, there are much more significant players in 2024.
Have a look at LOX pump built for 80ton FFSC engine that’s not from Raptor having similar valve system @astrobase_space. Tested for performance, video at astrobase.in
