Additionally in the time since that last update I completed the exterior of the fuel turbopump, fuel preburner, and hot gas manifold, as well as preliminary sizing of the fuel turbopump's interior, of Raptor 2

Starship launch 14 was an early morning launch, and with the low sun on the horizon Ship 41 seems to have cast its shadow on the plume from Booster 21 during flip and boost back. 📸 @NASASpaceflight

Are we just going to keep calling it Starbase LA? This is Louisiana where everybody and everything has a nickname.

it would be nice if you could just directly upload other files in a tweet, just like you can in direct messages or like on the majority of other social media platforms, without having to upload said file to an external file sharing service beforehand. Zip archives, pdfs, the whole bit

there's a whole story between these two sentences
In may of 2025, a bit after FLT-9, i submitted a FOIA request to the FAA to receive copies of the final mishap reports for Flights 7 & 8. Over a year and a half later, and they finally got back to me. The mishap reports are heavily redacted as i expected but are still cool.

we should let the ideas guys have their way just once so I get to pick apart the inevitable debris field
Thinking about when @rookisaacman did this.... and how Starship could take it to a whole new scale

My favorite part of this is the booster chines slicing through the vapor. It is incredibly mesmerizing

Probably the most insane Starship V3 liftoff footage I've ever seen so far on @interstellargw tomorrow morning, and I don't mean that lightly.
