25 days into #100DaysOfCode. 7 projects built. I'm a Biochemistry graduate learning frontend at Blockfuse Labs in Jos, and each project taught me something a tutorial never did. Here's the one lesson from each 🧵👇🏾

Built a full-stack restaurant app with React + Vite and axios frontend and Express + Sequelize and postgreSQL backend. I was expecting that anytime I change the PORT in dotenv in backend let the frontend pick 😂 @blockfuselabs #FullStack #React #PostgreSQL #WebDevelopment

Day 23/100 Today, I used JavaScript to create a dynamic task tracker! I concentrated on DOM manipulation, for element creation, styling, and setting up state for task counters, individual deletes, and list resets.

A lot of people think tech in Nigeria only happens in Lagos and Abuja. I'm learning frontend development in Jos, while serving my NYSC in Plateau State. In 3 weeks I've built 7 projects from here, including a live website for a real company. What I've noticed: → The tools are the same everywhere. HTML, Tailwind and JavaScript don't care about your location. → Community matters more than city. Learning with others at Blockfuse keeps me consistent. → A live project link travels further than a CV. → Sharing your progress helps people find you, wherever you are. Talent is spread across the whole country. What matters is showing up and building. If you're building in tech outside the big cities, where are you based? 👇🏾 #TechInNigeria #100DaysOfCode

This one feels special. @Afriverseworld is 2 years old. @blockfuselabs is also 2 years old. Two communities that started around the same time, both building from Jos, both creating spaces for people to learn, connect and find opportunities in tech. Now, two years later, we’re coming together as strategic partners. I think there’s something beautiful about that. We’ve both had our own journeys, challenges and wins, but we’ve kept showing up and building. So as AfriVerse celebrates two years with Coded-Verse 1.0, I’m proud that Blockfuse Labs gets to be part of it. This is bigger than an event partnership for me. It’s two growing communities choosing collaboration and thinking about what we can build together for the years ahead. Happy 2 years to AfriVerse. 🤝 From one 2-year-old community to another — we’re just getting started. 🚀 AfriVerse × Blockfuse Labs

August wasn’t supposed to mean anything until Blockfuse Labs was born. Today, we are 2 years old. Blockfuse Labs was born in August 2024. And since then, August has stopped being just the 8th chapter of the year for me. It became Chapter One. The month a crazy idea started making sense. The month we stopped talking about what we could build and actually started building. We started in Jos. No big funding. No perfect blueprint. No guarantee that any of this would work. Just code, conviction, community, and a stubborn belief that something meaningful could be built from here. Two years later, I look back and sometimes wonder how we got here this fast. We’ve trained hundreds of developers. We’ve watched people walk into Blockfuse Labs with little or no experience and grow into engineers building real products. We’ve competed and won on global stages. We’ve worked with and been welcomed into ecosystems we once admired from a distance. We’ve built products, supported founders, hosted builders, created opportunities, made mistakes, learned, adjusted, and kept moving. And most importantly, we’ve built a community. A real one. There were difficult days too. Days when things didn’t go according to plan. Days when resources were tight. Days when the responsibility felt heavier than the excitement. But we kept building. That, for me, is what these two years represent. Not perfection. Progress. From a crazy idea in Jos to something that now means something to hundreds of people. And we are nowhere near done. So today, I just want to say thank you. To everyone who believed in Blockfuse Labs when there wasn’t much to believe in yet. To our team. Our students. Our partners. Our friends. Our community. And everyone who has opened a door, shared an opportunity, challenged us, supported us or simply told someone about what we are building. Thank you. Happy 2nd Anniversary to Blockfuse Labs. ❤️ Here’s to August. Here’s to the next chapter. Here’s to building louder, smarter and stronger. Two years down. We’re still just getting started.

Hi @TechpointAfrica @MuyoSan , how many RTs for me to have my own community section on the next Lagos Startup Expo? Give me a section for me to meet-up with my online community physically. We might just go booth by booth asking who's hiring interns too. Where are my people?
