I want the big boss back in the stand… that’s worth an extra 10% at least! I always feel so much more confident when he’s there #NFFC

🔴⚪️ #NFFC 0 v 1 #Arsenal 🟡🔴 Instant reaction from the City Ground, where Forest’s frustrating home form continues, as more vital #PremierLeague points slip away ❌ A much-improved performance against quality opposition, and perhaps unlucky not to take something from the game. The champions did what champions do… they delivered a late knockout blow 🤯 Plenty of positives to build on. Now let’s turn performances into points 🙏 Come on you Reds ❤️🌳

2026/27 - Game 20 ✅ Maltby Main 1 v 3 Dunkirk FC Fantastic performances from the boys, bounced back brilliantly after conceding almost immediately. A third goal on the stoke of half-time effectively sealed it… Dominated the game after that early setback! Strong defensively, controlled the midfield and stuck the chances away when they came along! A bit spicy in the stands too 😜 Proper away day, our way, that! Kay, Stanny, a good laugh with guys and a win to celebrate. It doesn’t matter what level it is, that what following football is all about. Loved it… And the ground too, absolutely shite hole but that made it even better. An app tells me it was 145, I’m telling you it was possibly the worst of the lot… and fucking freezing 🥶 … it’s not so grim up t’north after all 🤷🏻‍♂️ We are the Boatmen, the mighty Boatmen ❤️🖤 #UTBM #farhaveItravlled #DunkirkFC

Starting annual leave with what’s going to be a pretty epic 8 days on the road… first stop, Vermuyden Way parkrun in sunny Scunny 🚗 A bitterly cold start, but thankfully things warmed up nicely for me, Kay and Stanny to clock up 5k on this straightforward out-and-back course. Pretty sure he loved it 🖤 Boggy underfoot, with a motorway overhead, but surprisingly picturesque and full of colour. The brilliant volunteers from the Legion made it a super-friendly welcome, too 🤝 Not the kindest course for niggly injuries, but a lovely morning all the same. Another parkrun ticked off ✅ Next stop, heading a little further south for breakfast and footie, before turning north again later 🧭 Let the adventures begin… 👊 #justDOingit #parkrun #ParkrunTourism

Just turn up if you want to! Don’t, if you don’t… it’s that simple! No explanation, debate or point scoring needed! People’s rational for justifying football is determined by factors and influences personal to their own circumstances and #NFFC investment. Personally, I feel the most disconnected I ever have from #PremierLeague but I’ll be there… it doesn’t have to make sense!!! 🤷🏻‍♂️

A little appreciation for one of our newest volunteer, Steve Marsden. We're just 15 games into the season, and Steve is still relatively new to the club. Yet in that short time, he's slotted into the Dunkirk family as though he's been here for years. dunkirkfc.uk/news/from-leice…

I like this guy! Don’t really embrace Liverpool stuff but talks so much sense about the game from a fans POV.
🗣️ "Bananas? I'll tell you what is bananas, it's bananas that the Premier League is telling us that a club is guilty of cheating and then we're all expected to crack on as normal." 📺 Full free #LFC show: youtube.com/live/9P3e87jqAoA…

How long is the stench of the “sham” going to corrode the meaning, worth, and very essence of the Premier League? Listening to commentary about Manchester City’s players matching the defiance of their ownership and triumphing in adversity. Listening to fans chorusing the names of the men running the club, wearing masks or displaying banners of their faces and jibing: “We’re Man City, we’ll cheat when we want.” Victory being framed as “a lovely moment,” a show of togetherness as though some grave injustice has been imposed on City, rather than their hierarchy being found by an independent commission to have orchestrated financial doping on an industrial scale. Their opponents and the rest of us wondering if any of this actually matters now and how much of it ever did? There can be no business as usual pretence. We need a full stop to the absurdity.

2 YEARS AGO TODAY… I WENT COAST TO COAST ↔️ 192 miles. 7 days. Across the North of England. Incredible to think back to that moment, stood with my feet in the water, knowing I’d just completed something that would change so much more than I could ever have imagined. Lots has happened since. The good, the bad and the indifferent. That’s life. But I had the mindset, the courage and the determination to give it a go and to see it through. I’m still incredibly proud, not just of the achievement, but of the indescribable difficulties encountered, endured and ultimately conquered along the way. Some of the biggest battles you face are the ones nobody else ever sees. When you strip away the noise, the distractions and the expectations of others, you’re left with yourself. Your thoughts, your doubts and your vulnerabilities. No applause, nobody to impress. Just you, putting one foot in front of the other and finding a way to keep going when stopping would be so much easier. It’s in those moments you discover who you really are. I’ve never really sat down and explained everything that journey meant to me. Perhaps I never will, and I don’t need to. Some experiences are deeply personal, and their value doesn’t depend on anyone else understanding them. The C2C, despite me not talking about it very often, taught me lessons that will shape the person I am until my very last day. It taught me that character matters more than image, kindness means more than popularity and showing up when nobody is watching says more about you than anything you could ever post online. It taught me that you don’t need to have everything figured out. You just need the courage to be honest with yourself, accept your vulnerabilities and keep working on the person you want to become. Most importantly, it taught me that SUPERFICIAL IS BORING. I have far more time for real conversations, genuine connections and people who mean what they say. For those who show up when it matters, celebrate others without jealousy and offer a hand without expecting anything in return. We live in a world that places so much importance on appearances, status and the impression we leave on others. When life gets difficult, none of that means much. What matters is who you are when things go wrong, how you treat people when there’s nothing to gain and whether the person you present to the world is the person you are when nobody is looking. REAL beats PERFECT. EVERY SINGLE TIME. I’m not the same person who stood in that water two years ago. Life has tested me in different ways since, and there’s still plenty to learn. But I carry those 192 miles with me every day. Not because I came away believing I was invincible, but because I learned I didn’t need to be. I just needed to be willing. Willing to try, to fail, to feel uncomfortable and to face the parts of myself I might otherwise have avoided. Two years on, I’m grateful I took that chance. For the challenge, the lessons, the perspective and the person it helped me become. The real achievement was never just getting from one coast to the other. It was discovering a little more about myself along the way. Life is too short to live for appearances, too precious to waste chasing approval and too meaningful not to make a difference where we can. Be real. Be kind. Be grateful. Keep showing up. 192 miles. 7 days. Lessons that will last a lifetime… #justDOingit #DOrunning #CoastToCoast #PersonalGrowth #RealOverPerfect

Ndoye is still shit… one swallow doesn’t make a summer! FFS… if that lad could finish consistently, he’d be off the fucking racks! Unfortunately he can’t. Good, probably best performance other than that…. Signed off by the bipolar football fan 🤯

Not Glasner fault… the end! Took it full on when he had too… admirable but we ain’t thick! Focus! Finish! Flourish! That’s on the players, I’m afraid! Absolutely not after the striker (love his qualities) but for 50 mill… he should be cartwheeling away to the Terry Waite stand! 100% headless after that… #nffc

🔴🔵 #CPFC 3 v 1 #NFFC 🟢🔴 Forest self-implode at Selhurst Park 🤯 Despite an early gift that promised a far more productive afternoon, The Reds ultimately came away with nothing. Unforgivable in front of goal, punished at the other end. In the #PremierLeague, if you don’t take your chances, you lose matches. Facts! Goals change momentum, more importantly, games. Focus Forest… Next: Arsenal 😬
