You can’t cherry pick what to be morally righteous about. Cheating in any form is bad or it isn’t. Liverpool won a Champions League with Dudek 5 yards off his line, cheating AC Milan out of a European Cup.

Dudek moving significantly off his line in the 2005 Champions League final penalties did not violate the rules in force then, as the requirement for a goalkeeper to have at least one foot on or above the line was only introduced in 2019.
