Was a network of well-connected paedophiles responsible for the disappearance & murder of young boys in Belfast in the 1970’s? And did the State cover it up?

JAMIE BRYSON - HAS HE FINALLY REACHED HIS BLIND ALLEY...?
"I Don't Like Monday's" was an 1979 hit for the Boomtown Rats. Perhaps however, that title will have a greater long term significance for Jamie Bryson...
Today was the day that his poorly constructed House of Cards finally began to crumble...
Significant elements of both political Unionism & also those within local media who would be Unionist-friendly, appear to have finally had enough of the daily theatrics of the Daliancer from Donaghadee..
Firstly the @News_Letter , now under the new editorial direction of award winning journalist @rodneyedwards. A stinging editorial piece in today's edition stating that "Bryson is leading Unionism down a ruinious dead end...".
Then, a revelation that a number of DUP elected Reps have deleted their social media posts endorsing Bryson's book "Culture War".
And also that several others have deleted any references at all to him on their Social Media accounts.
And finally Gavin Robinson, who today launched an unexpected salvo during a Stormont Press conference.
"If Unionism has learned anything" he said, "then it's not to follow someone down a blind alley who doesn't know where he is going..."
Ouch..
Has Jamie Bryson finally reached his blind alley...?
The answer may well be yes. He is now swimming in a decreasingly smaller goldfish bowl with only the Unionist extremes paddling alongside. His dream of becoming the saviour of the Union is fast disappearing beyond the horizon.
His ship may finally have sailed...
HENRY JOY.

I can now confirm after speaking to officers; that despite a firearms risk assement from the PSNI.
Negotiators who were sent into the crowd and the air support unit were not briefed of any firearms risk.
They are asking me why they weren’t told if one existed. @BelTel
I can confirm, despite the PSNI assessment that dissidents may have had ready access to weapons on Garvaghy road, no surveillance was launched to follow potential weapons.
There was no contact with security services and no counter terrorism specialist firearms teams were put in place at any point.
Serious questions now being asked of the PSNI that if they believed weapons were on the road why they did not follow that belief @BelTel
This is an extremely different picture from that of Jonathan Buckley & also of Gavin Robinson who claimed on #NolanLive last week that Orange Men were going to be shot on Garvaghy Road. Will he be forced to retract & apologise?
Replying to @Kscott_94
Sources from the security services tell me (exclusively) that, while assets from DRG’s were on the road, due to the scale of the gathering had no access to weapons.
Their assessment stops at the fact that not paramilitary groups; but local youths had access to petrol bombs, and it was localised to one area to Churchill Park, they did not consult the PSNI, due to the low risk.
Jamie fails to mention the “possibility” of Loyalist Paramilitary violence at Drumcree.
This has also been starkly absent from much of the reporting around Garvaghy Road peaceful protest.
Almost as if it doesn’t suit the narrative 🤷♂️
Jonathan claimed there were “firearms’ on the Garvaghy Road. He deserved to be ridiculed.
The intelligence report states it was “POSSIBLE” that dissident Republicans “MAY” have access to weapons. I’d suggest that intelligence has been consistent across the North for decades.

We really enjoyed the UK premiere of All About The Money at the London Film Festival last night and also welcomed the opportunity to call for Fergie Chambers to be freed and Palestine Action to be de-proscribed.
A convenient Drumcree off-ramp for political unionism.
Meanwhile, silence about the chief agitator’s links to the very much still active UVF, Winkie Irvine’s car boot full of guns or Ulster Resistance (Jim Allister, Noel Little) & the haul of weapons still unaccounted for.
EXCLUSIVE | The DUP will come under huge pressure to collapse the Assembly over a Drumcree security assessment which proves the Provisional IRA still exists.

An egregious example of BBC’s lack of editorial control over Nolan. In what other part of the BBC would this be considered appropriate?
You cannot hope to be taken seriously on the biggest political stories of the day if the host is constantly discussing his weight & hair.
Nolan accused of looking like a Sesame street character. Is it time to ditch the dyed hair?

Given Carla Lockhart's claim that she helped to avert a bloodbath at Scarva, would it not have been prudent for the PSNI to have arrested and interrogated the mob in attendance, to uncover guns, ammunition and or bombs that were to be used in said bloodbath
Kate Hoey (& Jim Allister) seem a damn sight more angry over Jeffrey Donaldson’s perceived political betrayal than his actual crimes. Morally bankrupt.

Utterly despicable desecration of the Ormeau Rd Bookmakers Memorial. This comes five weeks after the last attack, which was in the context of the Orange Order seeking to march along the Garvaghy Rd. (The families have yet to hear from the PSNI regarding that last attack.) This latest attack comes as the Apprentice Boys now seek to walk the Ormeau Rd. Our thoughts are with the distraught families and injured who are left to pick up the pieces of this trauma. In this small beleaguered community of a handful of streets over 73 people have lost their lives to the conflict, the overwhelming majority in sectarian attacks involving state agents and collusion.
The scene outside Newry Crown Court as we await post-sentencing remarks. Jeffrey Donaldson jailed for 15 years!!!
