Three UK hitting peaks of 2.1 Gbps on 140 MHz n78 in an AONB!
This site in Dorking had its backhaul upgraded after a RAN upgrade, and sets a new record for my 3 UK tests.
Fabulous to see mmWave-like performance on Sub-6. There are benefits to NR CA than just "number go whee!"
I see that CrossCountry are increasing capacity on their trains by adding "virtual seats".
50% off if you let someone sit on your lap for your journey could work with our pricing, but I'm not sure about the leg room.
On a more serious note, I'm not sure where Seat 31 is in this pair of solo seats is meant to be.

Minor PSA to anyone who has a 16-25 Railcard and has purchased tickets for July or August
The rail industry has forgotten to remove the £12 minimum fare for before 10am.
If you've already bought any tickets for these months, it's worth checking you haven't been overcharged by your Railcard either not being applied, or your tickets being capped at £12 pre-10am.
If you have Advance tickets, the minimum fare never applies to these so they'll be unaffected.

Really lucky to have planned a trip to Copenhagen with about 24 hours notice to be on board the inaugural passenger service with @omDSB's new Talgo units. š
Despite concerns about ride quality, these seem to be faring very well so far on this domestic journey. It'll be interesting to see what they're like on German infrastructure from Monday.
This time with photos! DSB have soft-launched the Talgo sets into passenger service this afternoon, doing a one-off return trip from Osterport to Fredericia. Looks very smart... Photos from @davwheat_ who I'm meeting up with for the return journey later! (cc @seatsixtyone)
I thought I'd take the opportunity to put together a website emulation of these new clocks.
Not too tricky at all!

Trainline launched an AI chatbot last week. I've uncovered flaws with it, among others, including:
- Saying adults can travel using child tickets
- Not knowing about railcard restrictions
- Not knowing about routing restrictions

Welcome on board this @CrossCountryUK service to Aberdeen... and then Penzance.
14 hours 49 minutes to go.
After failing my first attempt a year or two ago due to engineering works, and then hearing of the service's demise, I had to give it another go.
Following people doing Penzance to Aberdeen, I worked out I should be able to beat their scheduled travel time by doing the unit's working from Dundee into Aberdeen, then back to Penzance, so that's what I'm doing! ā at Dundee, Scotland
Staff located, doors closed, train dispatched!
Hopefully the next 297 miles will be just as trouble-free!
Better late than never... my post, that is!
845 miles, and 14 hours 59 minutes covered on a single Voyager.
Success, with a 9 minute delay picked up from a late running local service around Newton Abbot.
@GWRHelp's sleeper held at Penzance to allow customers to connect back up to London, arranged with the help of a phone call from our lovely @CrossCountryUK TM who took us from Plymouth to Penzance.
I always get the impression that the railway works very well in Cornwall, compared to the rest of GB, in terms of helping passengers make their connections.
I managed to take the Riviera up to Camborne thanks to the kindness of on-board staff, saving me 1½ hours of buses too. ā at Penzance, England
