It doesn’t go away , you’ll just be rusty and slower for a bit.
Could you still build without AI?

When in doubt, just use C# and ASP.NET Core. It's blazing fast. .NET 11 RC2 is even faster. For me, it's the best overall major web framework - auth, config, logging, perf, modular middleware, DI, cross-plat, etc. But I didn't expect this:
Campfire rewrite journey continues. I let the clankers run for a day, go through all the PRs that were submitted, verify the work, merge what was ready, and then ask it to bring all architectural improvements to each implementation. Good old C is now in the lead!

Tonight (well, tonight Sydney time!) I'm going to be doing an off-the-cuff session about how I use GitHub Copilot, things I'm building with it, and tips on how to make the best use of it. 🕧 6pm ADST 🔗 meetup.com/coding-night-anz/…

My latest pastime is building CLIs that make it easier for agents to explore systems. I don’t mean writing deterministic end-to-end tests (those come later). I mean giving agents a headless way to exercise common system interactions. Once you have that, ask the agent to explore all the ways things can go wrong. It gets real feedback from running the system, not just reading the code. Tie it all together: - Access to the code - A harness to quickly verify changes - Telemetry to understand what’s happening Now the agent can find a bug, fix it, and verify the fix on its own. And it can get there through combinations of interactions you never thought to test. For distributed systems I’m gonna plug aspire.dev. That’s where we discovered this pattern!

The Aspire 13.6 dashboard now uses Native AOT 💫 That means 66% faster median page-visible startup and no separately installed .NET runtime for the native dashboard executable. @JamesNK walks through how the team got there: devblogs.microsoft.com/aspir…

Aspire 13.6 features, day 5 The scroll-to-bottom button got a few quality-of-life improvements: 📜 Correctly scrolls to the bottom while new content is added 👋 Disappears immediately when clicked ⚡ More efficient, with fewer observers watching for DOM updates
