For the new Truth Hurts, I spoke to Dâm-Funk about playing keyboards on Westside Connection's "Let It Rain," collaborating with Snoop on 7 Days of Funk, his vision for modern funk, the influence of Prince and Junie Morrison, the origins of the Funkmosphere parties, funk's re-emergence in contemporary pop, and why staying true to the music has always mattered more to him than chasing fame. One of my favorite episodes we've done. youtube.com/watch?v=F8BLEL6Y… @DaMFunK

Show in Toronto went very smooth. It was all vinyl & not 1 curse word in the set. Not 1 curse word on the 🎤. It’s nice 2 see U can still experience a night of 🎵, without all of the low frequencies we’re so used 2 being crowbar’d into ‘most’ events we roll 2 within the nitelife.
