WSX Breaking: Metallicus has launched the alpha version of DogecoinVM on Metal Blockchain, claiming Dogecoin transactions can be processed up to 300 times faster than on the native network. The independent layer is designed to accelerate $DOGE payments without modifying Dogecoin Core, with transactions reaching finality in roughly 0.15–0.25 seconds. Metallicus CEO Marshall Hayner says the development addresses the faster-payment vision previously raised by @elonmusk, while DogecoinVM currently limits deposits to 100 DOGE during alpha testing.
