I’m extremely grateful to have the endorsement of so many members & residents in Newark, and from our wider movement.
They know Newark deserves an MP who will work hard for them and be their voice in Westminster.
Thank you to these amazing community champions for backing me.

Here for you this #thicktrunktuesday is a huge old oak needing a little help to keep it together. The deadwood habitat in its hollowing trunk is so valuable, supporting a column of little lives.

Here for you this #thicktrunktuesday is a living sculpture of oak, stone and moss, found on a Derbyshire hillside last week. Living and non living forms in a slow dialogue.

The sighting of a Marbled White butterfly in the Park has caused a flutter. This is the first official recording in the Park for 10 years as part of UK Butterfly Monitoring Scheme. With nearby sites of this scarce Notts butterfly, hopefully it will establish here. #30DaysWild

A day for fascinating meetings, with fellow tree people @cornishca and @Lou_Hackett from the @AncientTreesATF and @WoodlandTrust then meeting some ancients in the parkland around Chatsworth. Carl was interviewing me for the ATF newsletter, hope I was as interesting as they were!

One of the best and certainly the most holistic wood pasture creation projects I’ve seen, brilliant.
Replying to @cornishca
Yesterday visited Gowbarrow Hall Farm to meet the inspiring farmers @gowbarrow who shared their passion & vision for regenerative farming with wood pasture restoration and pigs, veteran alders & lots of birds - wonderful gowbarrow.co.uk/ 2/2

Lots of interesting discussion about whether the natural regen at Silver Cove is wood pasture (open grown/pollard trees, scrub & open habitat mosaic, & deliberate grazing). Regen is appearing as pulses of single species in patches, it will take time but def wood pasture for me.
A couple of days in the Lake District with Wood Pasture & Parkland Network thanks to @WilderScapes organising. Visited @wildennerdale to see and hear about partnership working to deliver catchment scale conservation - impressive 1/2
