Never, ever understand people (or cops) that slag off Special Constables... They VOLUNTEER to help out the frontline and IF you ever find yourself getting stomped on - you won't complain if they come to your aid! If they're unsure, help them out. If they do a brilliant job, …

As @PFEW_Che states: It really goes to show three things:
1) The real risks facing our officers daily;
2) The effectiveness of #Taser;
3) The need to allow officers training and carriage of this valuable piece of kit.
What the actual fuck is going on in London??? Just witnessed a man at Tulse Hill station running around chasing people with a machete! #TulseHill

Being spat at. Being punched. Being kicked.
Assaults against emergency workers are unacceptable.
They don't come with the territory.
They're never OK.
An attack against one of them is an attack on us all.

You’ve all been asking for the video. This is the moment I detained an assault suspect who was out-running police officers in Swindon on Sunday. 27-year-old local man Dale Jones has since been charged with assault by beating and possession of a class A drug. #ProtectTheProtectors

Heartbreaking to read. Please, if you feel the effects take hold or notice a colleague act differently - take the time to talk to someone, talk to each other, look after each other, there is always someone who will listen and help. Remember #ItsOkayNotToBeOkay

As the widow of a police officer murdered on duty I am appalled at the campaign by @LushLtd the police service should be supported and respected. Who do Lush call when they have a shoplifter, their staff are abused or their stores broken into? Hang your heads in shame.

This is not easy for me to ask, and following recent horrid DM’s I’m more determined than ever to make this work for my family. You send abuse, I block. My spirits are set on beating this and no one will stand in my way let me tel you.

It's not always easy being a police officer, so a round of applause and cheers like this mean so much.

We are not done just yet but it’s amazing to get a round of applause like this! 👏 Thank you to this crowd for the applause as our officers moved away from the Long Walk. We appreciate it.
