The Innovations In Compiler Technology (IICT - @compiler_tech) workshop is back for its third edition in 2026! IICT brings together academics, industry experts, hackers and students all under one roof to share bleeding edge developments in the space of compilers and programming languages. If you’re new to Compiler Engineering, Compilers power a whole lot of technologies that form the backbone of critical systems : Android NDK, Postgres, Swift, Clang, Rust, Julia, Tensorflow XLA, XCode etc. All are powered by the LLVM ecosystem. On the other end, GCC powers everything from embedded systems, to the Linux kernel and tools like GDB. The 2025 edition of IICT was held at @iiscbangalore and saw over 400 attendees. In 2025, we introduced the #segfault hackathon, the first compiler themed hackathon in India. We had 21 talks and 6 hackathon presentations across 2 days, and the event was sponsored by @nvidia, @Google, @Qualcomm, Quadric, @cdacindia and supported by @TheOfficialACM!
