Wife: when are you going to stop buying domains and start an actual business with one of them?

I built a Photoshop-like image editor. It’s called Compositor.
robbietilton.com/compositor
I originally built it for myself to get off my Adobe subscription, but decided to release it for free and make it open source. It has all the essential tools I need for compositing, with none of the BS.
I know this workflow is kind of archaic in 2026, but I’m still using it until AI can actually get pixel-perfect on some of the details.
The entire app is 12MB. Photoshop is 6,455MB on my machine.

Tired of seeing “Ask Siri” on every menu? Here's how to disable it.
In macOS 27, after enabling Siri AI, all context menus include a persistent “Ask Siri” context menu item. Turns out you can actually disable it without turning off Siri AI.
To disable, run the following commands in the Terminal app:
codes=(soft apwn exit loca lock logo rlgo rcnt rrst rest rsdn shut slep spro syss)
args=(-int 0)
for code in "${codes[@]}"; do
hex=$(printf %s "$code" | xxd -p -u)
args+=(-int "$((16#$hex))")
done
defaults write -g NSAppleMenuAllowedItems -array "${args[@]}"
and give your Mac a restart.
---
NSAppleMenuAllowedItems controls which items are visible in the menu. For some reason, Apple decided that macOS shouldn't insert “Ask Siri” whenever the filter is active, even if nothing is actually disabled.
The command allowlists all menu items. It doesn't include "abtm" (About This Mac) because it is unconditionally visible in the current code.
Re-enable with: defaults delete -g NSAppleMenuAllowedItems

"small potatoes"
JUST IN: President Trump agrees with VP JD Vance in refusing to call the months-long U.S. military action in Iran a war, instead calling it a "military conflict" and describing the whole thing as "small potatoes" to the United States.
"Well, I'll tell you what. A lot of people don't call it a war. I call it a military conflict because it's small potatoes for us. It's not a big thing."

If anyone’s curious how a shortcut like this works, here’s mine.
- It requires iOS 27 because a bunch of stuff changed.
- It uses the cloud model because the on-device model is junk.
- It uses a custom prompt and dumps the corrected, dictated text to a note. But you can send it anywhere else, including Obsidian.
- Assign this shortcut to your action button or whatever and have fun!

PoC for a critical vulnerability in Apple macOS Screen Sharing (CVE-2026-65400).
If Screen Sharing is enabled, any network attacker can exploit the bug to log in as any account, without knowing the password.
We reverse engineered Apple’s unusual macOS 26.6.1 patch to understand the root cause and exploitation path.
Please upgrade your macOS boxes to 26.6.1.
Full technical writeup drops tomorrow.

Siri sucks. So I made a way for Codex to act as my iPhone's voice assistant.
Now Codex can read my screen, control apps, and take actions on my behalf – all in vanilla iOS 27.
