Software engineers burning out thanks to using AI coding tools is becoming a major problem I don't see anyone talk about all that much. There's some "vampire effect" in these tools, and it drains a lot of devs. This video by @stolinski is a very good and important one, to start:
This is the most important video I've ever made. In this, I explore the negative and positive mental health effects of AI coding, with data and expert commentary. youtu.be/iPUn1Fnfn0k

In June I left my position as CTO at Baby Journey without any real plans for what to do next. Since then I've been advising two startup founders and taken countless of advisory calls. To be able to do more of this, I've now productised myself! Let me explain 👇

Thank you for ten years of listening and smiling with me. Most of my accounts are now suspended. This account is ending intentionally so you can still scroll back and see the old tweets. Picard continues offering advice at botsin.space/@PicardTips Goodbye Twitter. It was fun.

I highly recommend Elixir/Phoenix as the tech stack for indie hackers. One language, one framework and you can get VERY far.

Agreed. Heard this one about blogging about 16 years ago (loosely translating): when you write just for yourself, no one reads it. When you put it online, many people don't. The fear of OSS was real to me until I remembered it and realized there's literally zero risk for me in it

Starting with @codechips a year ago, and then with @SvelteSociety summit, the @sveltejs community has been the most open, welcoming and forthcoming in regards to Vest. Not sure if that's all on you, @swyx, but still - awesome job. I really love the vibes of this community.

Just merged a PR for Vest's docs by @codechips adding a @sveltejs demo. If you want a more in depth read on how to write Vest form validations in Svelte, go get his awesome book. gumroad.com/l/svelte-forms github.com/ealush/vest

I was lucky enough to read it early in helping review it, and it's very well done... definitely worth picking up!
🔥 Svelte Forms: From WTF to FTW! 🔥 The "missing manual" for Svelte forms is FINALLY here! 150 pages, 9 chapters, 51 awesome examples. It took a little longer than I expected, but turned out much better than I hoped for. Especially the examples 🙂 gumroad.com/l/svelte-forms
