I like that format. A short presentation about whats new in 1.18 and then a casual Q&A.

Okay, today I finally moved from my Mac Studio to a Linux machine.
Excited how my I like the workflow in the upcoming weeks.
TIL: cal
I can't remember how often I opened up a dedicated calendar app just to check the calendar.
Just do `cal`
How could I not know about this? atuin.sh/
Atuin let's you store (and SYNC!) your shell history across machines. Bye bye fzf for shell history.
Did anybody find something useful within the "Pitch your product" twitter threads?
It would not cross my mind to search for solutions to problems in an X thread where some person probably might have posted a product I might need.
Every time I use a text editor anywhere (like note apps, RTEs) I instantly use vim bindings and scream why it's not doing what I want.
That's the neovim experience. Can't go back.

It is very exciting to see more and more people pushing towards operational simplicity in web applications. Your app and a database should be everything you need for production and Phoenix + Postgres is still the best stack for starting out in dev and running in prod.

ElixirLS v0.24.0 is out! 🚀
The local file code intelligence engine has been rewritten, improving accuracy in alias/import tracking, variable definitions, call tracking, and more. Now supports Elixir 1.13-1.17 with better macro expansion for smarter completions & navigation.
My ego is crushed now that I found out that ~20% of my 600 followers where bots.
Back at 500 now.
Let's go again 🏃
Peter built it in a handful of sessions. Amazing work!

TIL a quick hack when I am fighting with z-indexes again. The CSS isolation property ignores the stacking context and forces the given z-index.
🔥 Sending out the next issue of my Elixir newsletter tomorrow.
I will show you how to send complex data to LiveView JS hooks.

This is a really nice take on how to use AI on a daily basis by @arvidkahl .
I appreciate the non-hype talk with useful tips on how AI makes wearing a lot of hats easier for a solopreneur.

mise-en-place is the only version manager I ever wanted. It's truly great.

I can't stand these weird "shocking" faces so many people make on YouTube videos. It's like a contest that the person with the most stupid face does get the most views.
Take an example of @OptimumTechYT - that's how sane thumbnails are done.
