Fighter Narshon Kohlo has been released after spending a few days in police detention. He has been accused of disorderly conduct and another charge stems from posting pictures of citizens holding a yellow card, an online protest carried out to flag the illegitimacy of CAA3.
ARREST UPDATE
Our Youth Chairperson Fighter Narshon Kohlo has been transferred from Budiriro 2 Police station to Harare Central Law & Order. He is still detained and yet to be charged. Like many revolutionaries @Che_Guevara_ZW is targeted for opposing Mr Mnangagwa’s misrule.

Before Comrade @Che_Guevara_ZW arrest in Zimbabwe, security operatives approached his auntie and asked her to tell him to stop organising the Sungano National Prayer. Now he has been arrested.
Young people should not have to choose between silence and prison simply because they organise and speak up.

🕯Last night we took a moment to light candles in Harare CBD in memory of the Kariba victims as students. We also expressed our solidarity with the vendors with the understanding that their are our mothers and fathers trying to make ends meet. We affirm the government must plan a place for them to operate and it's not enough to evict them without an alternative.

The history of Zimbabwe's democratic struggle cannot be told without acknowledging the sacrifices and contributions of students. As young people, we have a responsibility not only to pursue academic excellence but also to uphold constitutionalism, defend democratic values, and actively participate in shaping a just and accountable society. I invite all students and young people to join this important conversation as we reflect on the role of the student movement in safeguarding our Constitution and advancing democracy in Zimbabwe.
